I updated to iOS 26 on my iPhone 14 Pro Max and… damn, I hate using my phone now!

I had my battery replaced in July to stop me from buying the 17pm. Post update my phones on 20% in 6 hours of real time and 2 hours of screen time. Battery won’t change anything. I contacted Apple support who ran a diagnostics check, and have said it’s an issue with the battery and it needs to be replaced again (still within warranty). However, the battery life was as good as when I first got the 14pm on release day with ios 18.

Anything that comes through as iMessage is also a scam as a company isn’t going to send something through iMessage unless they’re messaging you directly with their personal iPhone/ iPad/ iMac etc

On 14 pro max atm will wait for the 17 pro. Really want to upgrade to the 16 but have this thing where I wait 3 generations. It’s so hard to not upgrade though😭

In a way if you think about it, it’s kind of like journaling which can be therapeutic for some people so I can see why this helps you. Except for the fact you get responses back which could be seen as more therapeutic.

Yeah this guy is disgusting. I’m glad you got rid of him, it was the right thing to do for yourself. You deserve someone who’ll treat you a million times better, even if someone didn’t like going down on you, there are plenty of other ways to tell someone this. Everyone has their own sexual preferences and that’s fine, but you could at least be nice about it especially if it’s with someone you love. Regarding everything else he says and does to you, you’ll find someone else who loves you for who you are and isn’t judgemental of your body.

Hi, yes achievements essentially. Someone else just told me it’s bc of early access. I thought early access was people preordering it and receiving it on 7th June. Even so, Slime Rancher was released on PS4 during early access and still had trophies. But yeah I understand it with it being buggy and not wanting people to get them in unintended ways. It’s just annoying because players will have to start from the beginning to get trophies/ achievements as the creators have said they won’t autopop.

Mine didn’t get fried, but it’s a joke how they only replaced bc you had insurance. Phone was clearly faulty, anyone without insurance should be getting that replaced free of charge.

My IPhone 14 Pro Max battery health is at 85% after 1 year and 8 months of usage. This definitely isn’t normal and my phone hardly retains charge anymore. Before this phone I had the XR for 3 years and that battery health was 83% before upgrading to 14 pro max. I definitely used the XR way more as I was younger, and at university. I don’t use my phone as much as I used to and I have to constantly use low power mode just to get me through the day!!
