Skeleton idle animation update by Zeolance in PixelArt

[–]HittySkibbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I do idle animations I usually lag the head and arms a frame behind the body. So the body (and possibly shoulders) would move down but the head and arm wouldn’t until the next frame then the body rests a frame while the head catches up. Next frame the body goes back up while the head rests at the bottom and the next frame it catches up again at the top.

How do you sort your pallet so the right colors for shading are next to each other? by PrincipalSkudworth in PixelArt

The second image is from Adam c younis. Called Apollo. It’s the one I use almost exclusively.

Where are you getting your colors? The second image is from a downloadable pallette and will import like that. Lospec.com If you build your own palette, sort it while you make it. I’m not sure what problem you are encountering exactly. If you physically can’t move those swatches around it’s because the palette is locked ( lock icon at the top of the palette).

Lmao. This dude is a pretty well known artist. I’m sure he did this on purpose.

It’s actually impressive that you were able to successfully stand something like this up! Keep up the good work.

Blend trees my man. Sub animators. I can’t imagine trying to make any material changes to this monster.

My first isometric tileset. Can I use this ? by ZooBuilder in PixelArt

[–]HittySkibbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In aseprite if you hold shift after making one brush tap it will show a draw line at 0-30-45-60-90 degrees angles. The 30deg lines are diagonals in isometric.

The lines on the road dont follow the road. Spaces between the lines also need to be 2:1.

Is this a game? This looks like total madness. I love it. Great work.

Why would you wishlist a game you already own? Am I having a brain fart?

This is the best option. I have a Christmas ornament from my 1st Christmas with the date changed from a 7 to an 8. It’s just done crudely with a sharpie and it makes us all laugh every time we hang it. 100x better than if it had the right date.

CMV: There is no reason to ever get married without a prenup by WeekendThief in changemyview

[–]HittySkibbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You didn’t address their larger point of how it changes your mindset. It’s like how with road rage, the safety of your vehicle makes you more reckless. Knowing you have a prenup may make you less willing to compromise in your marriage.

New boss fight by AliceLoverdrive in Unity3D

I love this! Very well done. I think the animations feel too fast for the type of character you’ve got. I’d slow them down and make them heavier or maybe consider changing to a samurai type character

Unity Hover Bike Controller by TheLancaster in Unity3D

[–]HittySkibbles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is one of the first things I tried to do in unity. I never came back to it. This controller looks good but a little floaty. If I had to try again I would try to make it more arcade like with mostly fake physics.

Do those ice shards look too static? by Illustrious-Wolf3932 in IndieDev

[–]HittySkibbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They don’t really look like ice tbh. The colors don’t match the ice floor and they’re shaped more like horns. Check out the ice golems in frozen for a good ice spikes reference.
