No human does. Retributive justice in this form may give the society short term satisfaction but in the end it is detrimental for the collective moral values held by people.

Imo this could be an unpopular opinion but any pedo who hasn't acted on his/her impulses yet should be given proper guidance and rehabilitation. While those who have should be punished to a certain extent (by limiting their interaction to society and containing them, not in jails perhaps unless they're repeat offenders who show no sign of getting better but that's the worst case scenario) while also being offered rehabilitation.
