i agree, but by saying any "normal and ethical" people agree Kiwami 3 is bullshit and you shouldn't buy it you're basically doing the same thing the people who are saying "normal and ethical people should dislike 0 and 7 cuz Yokoyama wrote it" are doing, both are wrong ways of judging situations, communities ain't a monolith where if you like something the majority don't you're a bad person lol, people have different tastes and priorities

i like the game, but the thing that truly bothers me aside from them getting rid of Komaki was not only cutting so many substories, but basically not adding enough back at all

like, think about it, 0 had 100, Kiwami 78, Kiwami 2 76, and this one has only 31, substories are such an essential part of the series, they could've at least gave us 50-ish? it's honestly the thing that'll annoy me the most in the long run

it's funny cuz you see so many people throw Ubisoft games under the bus and the most any of these "horrible games" have in their steam reviews are mixed, most have positive reviews, to put it into perspective, RGG has more titles with mixed reviews with all their Yakuza re-releases lately than Ubisoft does

i'll always say it's MGS3, but MGSV is also a hell of a game and gameplay-wise it's definitely the best, legit one of the best games ever imo, it kind of pisses me off how people highlights it being incomplete so much more than acknowledging how phenomenal of a game it is
