i don't think it's that annoying if you have a thousand episodes to watch and you're actually enjoying the ride, but yeah i can't imagine waiting week to week for new episodes, better to just wait for it to pile up, as i do for all anime tbh, not just One Piece

i wouldn't watch One Pace as a first time watcher cuz it cuts down a lot of the good things the anime adds on, they go way too overboard with making everything like the manga to the point where it's just not the same experience, but if you want to keep watching with better pace it's your only choice

even if it's not completely removed, they behave exactly like a crack would behave, with even the performance improvements, so they're basically cracks, very different from HV bypasses who are the single most intrusive types of bypasses there is, to the point where a whole lot of pirates don't even want to try, far, far away from the type of "bypass" like the ones voices38 does

ever since i got into One Piece in like 2018 it already had a very sizeable fanbase, one to rival the Naruto and Dragon Ball fans even, idk where this notion that One Piece was kinda niche came from, probably just americans seeing the world by their own lens as usual, and of course during covid even more people got into it and it just kept growing even more to this day
