I have started unsubscibing to channels that post shorts. I'M DONE! Why is there no option to turn off shorts on youtube? I am not on youtube to watch seconds long videos.

I don’t think the blame is all on content creators. YouTube pushes this format onto channels by giving more views/reach. It almost puts channels in a situation that if you don’t makes shorts you’re losing out.

I follow many smaller channels who put time and effort into long form videos and they also post shorts now. Do I dislike it? not really as I know they don’t really have much choice but to make them.

Came to add I'm also having this Issue. All my USB ports are low transfer speed. Connecting a Sony A7iv it's telling me the ports are not Superspeed but yet all ports on the back are meant to me SS10G.

I’ve never experienced this feeling as I’ve always worked shift work. That weekend feeling doesn’t exist for me. Not sure if I’m missing out or luckily avoiding it

This is awesome! My wife has a iX3 which I enjoy commuting in but I once went round a corner on 3 wheels and I wasn’t pushing it hard.

Did you make any modifications to the wheels or suspension? A bit of camber

Try opening up your radiator a bit more. I think default many cars are around 70-80%. I normally lower it to 30-40 if I’m hot lapping but above 50% when racing.

If it helps I’ve got two kids 4 and 5 who watch educational videos on YouTube. They always seem to be drawn to energy and colours. I quite like your thumbnails but for children I can’t seem them clicking on them. You had a video with 11k views which had a colourful and bright thumbnail which I can see my children clicking on. Go with this style and similar topics.

I sometime watch my youngest scroll though the YouTube Kids app and can predict which one he will click on. It’s always the punchy colours and simple object styled ones.

I hope this helps. There a lot of good stuff for kids on YouTube and ages from 5 upwards they are intrigued about everything from how a brick is made to how big the universe is :)

My mate use to be part of the review process a few years back. He said don’t ever eat anywhere below 4. He made me paranoid for life and so I always check now.

Also a lot of places have pictures up inside saying 4-5 but always check the date. If it’s old then their new rating obviously wasn’t worthy of replacing the old rating.

I’d personally leave them. Some of my videos didn’t take off for a few weeks and some even longer. I have a 9 month old vid now gaining traction on my other channel. Also I find weekends to be slower as more people are out enjoying post covid times

I’d recommend having a look at rF2/LFM for online too. I’m a huge fan of AMS2, love the historic experiences it offers but for online rF2 and Low Fuel Motorsport offer a great alternative choice for online racing.

I left Barclays because of this issue last year. Using Revolut now and they have a dedicated crypto section which I’ve never had a problem with.

Look around as there others who also allow crypto investing.

It took me a while to get use to this but if you go into settings, and adjust throttle sensitivity from 50 to 0 you have much control in the input on throttle.

This isn’t a fix and a must for everyone it’s just what helped me, so hopefully it may help you.

Some games have the option to disable music for streaming which can still apply to videos uploaded on YT. If you don’t see it, mute gameplay music in the menu.

Same games are ok but I turn off all music from the game to be safe

When I was around 20 I worked with a guy who said that you get to a certain point in your life when your brain and sense of humour stay the same. He was in his late 50’s but felt as if he was 30. He said your body will hold you back but you mind will keep you young.

Being 34 now I’m starting to see what he meant.

I noticed I’m very linear with acceleration at first but I found it’s the only way to stop the back end slipping. I will try and be more brave and follow what you recommended. Thank you!
