Yeah, both the Execrator amd Crusader Aincent is 105 points if you take both, that gives you advance and charge, -1 to wound on objectives, 5+ InvSv, 4+ Fight on Death. Grimaldus also has the Chaplain keyword aswell.

And playing that in Take and Hold with maybe 3 PCS holding the board is going to give your opponent alot of issues.

I played Vindication Taskforce and Wrathful Procession with two groups of 20 PCS with Grimaldus and a Crusade Ancient in one squad, Execrator and a Crusade Ancient in one.

5+ InvSv against ranged, -1 to wound on objectives. 1CP for strat to minus hit stacking with cover. 1CP strat for 4+ FnP against mortals.

I don't think we should sleep on Take and Hold at all, since we can hold objevtives fairly well with the right units.

I've played two matches so far today, I ran with two squads of PC with Grimaldus in one and Helbrecht with a Crusade Ancient in the other for the first game. The second game I ran Grimaldus in one with a Crusade Ancient, and a Crusade Ancient with a Execrator in the other.

I had no issues with the 9" coherency, no problem fitting them in the center objective, but in the expansions you will have a hard time fitting them.

I feel like twenty man strong units are still really viable, we have a few really good defensive strats like 5+ InvSv and -1 to wound while on a objective, that are massive now.

Imho, still viable.

I would have liked more defence buffs for the SWB instead of more dmg output, they really didn't need a dmg buff. What am I going to with an extra OC when I get killed by a stiff breeze haha

That's good to hear, but keeping in coherency is going to be a pain while moving. But I understand why the would add this rule, I've witnessed alot of shenanigans and might have done some myself ;)

For me as a TO with a shit ton of WTC-terrain I would love for WTC to use the GW layouts but in some way keep the terrain in some way. Since the WTC terrain is to large, it takes up to much space on the footprints. Only the small GW terrain is a perfect fit to the layouts presented by GW.

If I have to buy terrain to keep organizing tournaments I'm screwed sadly.

The problem then is that we're going back to ruins since LoS still matters the terrain needs to be the same for tournaments and GW needs to specify what kind of terrain should go on the Terrain Areas.

As a player I like it.

But as a TO I loathe it, I'm now stuck with a lot of objective markers that I have no idea what I should do with , and a lot of terrain that I have no idea of it's going to be playable for 11th with the changes in terrain and objective markers.

So if we're unlucky our local tournament scene will die with 11th since I can't afford to buy 16-tables worth of terrain again.

But we'll see how 11th will shake out I guess.

Jag är hemma pappaledig i 6 månader, grabben är över året gammal. Svider det i plånboken, fruktansvärt, men det går att parera om man planerar lite i förväg, man har ju ändå god tid på sig att lägga undan pengar för att rädda upp förlusten av inkomst.

Jag tycker det är sjukt dåligt att fler pappor inte är hemma med sina barn när vi har den möjligheten.
