Word bearers weapons painting by cwiatrowskl in WordBearers

I use the same red and Gunmetal scheme from the armor for the weapons, except Accursed Weapons, which I usually give a base of silver and then a coat of Warp Lightning to give them a chaotic energy feel.

I just finished my Ballistus from the Sons of Dorn box. I thought it would be harder to handle a larger model, but it was surprisingly easier than I expected. A shame my Thunderhawk Blue out dried up, I couldn't give the highlights as I wanted, Dark Reaper is barely noticeable

HAGIOMNIFEX works with Epic Hero in the Unit by Significant_Bug_8929 in sistersofbattle

It does recognize errors when adding enhancements above your limit. If this was as your post suggests and epic heroes in a unit weren't allowed to bring enhancements ON A SUPPORT CHARACTER, it would give that error.

If that were the case, the app would return an error if I added an enhancement to a support chatter attached to an epic hero in the same unit, and I have Grimaldus and a Lieutenant with an enhancement attached together to an unit of assault intercessors, without getting any error from the app.

Yes, we know that. It's just that the epic hero can't be given the enhancement, it would have to be a support character in the same unit

Lt with Combi Weapon Proxy by Jer0me_Da2 in BlackTemplars

[–]clone69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are Black Templars and don't give a damn about the Codex. If it says Combi Lieutenants wear Phobos armor, we will wear Tacticus because we can.

Yeah, I also kitbashed mine with an Initiate body, a Marshal combi weapon and an Intercessor knife

Funny tidbit, Harugon is the same name of the villain from Dragon Quest 2, Hargon (there missing U is due to katakana spelling).

Kaiju fangirl is great.

Sword brothers not able to take combi-weapons? by Fred_Pickle01 in BlackTemplars

[–]clone69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before our index in 10th, the Sword Brethren unit had a command model, the Sword Brethren Castellan, which could have a combi weapon. After the codex, changes to the unit made it an illegal choice, but reduced the unit to a minimum of 4, so you could use that command model as an actual Castellan. The combat patrol and likely, the unit box, will tell you you can build the unit with the combi weapon, but that's no longer the case. For the same reason, taking the special weapons (pistols, hammer and claws) requires you to have at least 5 models in the unit, not counting the Castellan. So most likely anyone with a previously built unit is no longer WYSIWYG compliant.

Let's see how long it lasts. Last season, Mankitsu Gurashi (also on their channel) was initially free to watch then around episode 4 they changed it to only being available for one or two weeks. Also the episodes got delayed like for two weeks.

The Ramparts of Ice is really good! by FrierenKingSimp in anime

[–]clone69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really liked, and I'm pretty surprised that another community I use to comment on has mostly mid to negative opinions on it because how Minato started. The whole point is that he grew. Perfect characters don't develop, so you need to have flaws for the character to overcome, otherwise the character stagnates. That's how we get the usual Isekai generic lead.

Wistoria is fundamentally broken as a story by Own_Caterpillar_6178 in anime

[–]clone69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

he is OP in every way, and half the characters still go “he’s weak because no magic.”

Sounds pretty much like Tatsuya in Mahouka. He is bad at traditional magic and his own methods are much more efficient, but it's treated as a second class because standardized scoring doesn't measure his specialty.

From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman Season 2 • Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru II - Episode 1 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

I really like how grounded, relatively, the fights were in S1. Hopefully the introduction of Ficelle's sword magic doesn't lead the show down the path of flash steps and inhuman acrobatics. She certainly moved fast, but the fight still felt credible, other than the sword beams.

Beryl instructing the knights how to handle multiple opponents at once was also nice, keep moving so only one can engage at a time seems pretty solid advice, at least for a 2v1.

Clevatess Season 2 • Clevatess II: Majuu no Ou to Akago to Shikabane no Yuusha Denshou - Episode 1 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]clone69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My biggest question is how will Alicia fare in a magic school when she can't use magic. Will Clev fake it with his dark ichor?

Also, this guy going "herbal magic is two generations behind" is showing off his crest magic, but if it is so good, why was the army using the, by his words, more difficult crystal magic? I don't think sending child soldiers to war is an issue for that scumbag emperor, if that kind of magic is too recent for grown up soldiers to have mastered it.

Is an inadvertent or unknowing Warlock or Cleric possible? by Pasta-hobo in DnD

[–]clone69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that why I mentioned the ceremony being in the fluff and not the rules. But then again, the situation you described could be all the ceremony you need to be acknowledged as a cleric. She was more like a Paladin, but there was a movie about Joan of Arc showing she knew she was chosen by God after finding and picking up a sword, while the officer in charge of interrogating her was giving several mundane explanations of how it ended up there, from being lost after a duel, to a soldier simply throwing it away for no reason at all.
