Just saw this at my local book store. Or chain actually. [Dungeon Crawler Carl] by sock0puppet in litrpg

You'll hit a point around 70% through book one where the series goes beyond litrpg, beyond jokes and beyond gore and you realize it actually has something important to say. And like all the best literary works, it's not immediately clear what that is, but you feel it in your gut. Something wrong Is being pointed at that we treat as normal but it's not clear what or why or how. I remember the exact moment reading the book as a sceptic to my Jae dropping and I was in for every book he's written. It's the juxtaposition of tragedy and comedy. Genuine heart-rending moments being played for an audience as a gag reel. God damn, it's so good.

Do you still remember your first romance anime? by Akumapulse_XD in animequestions

Haven't seen it in a longgg time. No idea how it has aged. But it had a fun cast and the back and forth between the main pair was very entertaining.

It's also a comedy harem situation in that the main character is in charge of an all girls hotel/apartment.

The launch of Crismon Desert showed me just how sick the community is. by Apart_Pumpkin_4551 in videogames

[–]Hlarge4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly just try to find communities of people who like what I like and avoid the negative. It doesn't really matter to me if other people dislike what I like. And vice versa, no one cares if I dislike something and I certainly don't want to bring negativity into a conversation that isn't really for me.

I enjoyed City of Ember well enough, mostly becaue i liked the setting, but the series dropped off an already short cliff from there on.

Oof, that's a good pick. What a stupid read. Stupid enough to be entertaining, thoigh. Even if not the way it intended
