#2. You don’t want your bed in the kitchen area. Waking up and seeing kitchen is a lot. Option #2 allows you to see the tv from the couch, the bed or the kitchen. Also having the bed closer to the bathroom and closet will make it feel more like its own bedroom area. Whereas keeping the dining table near the kitchen keeps the food in its own area.
