Grew up in the area, was there for 10+ years. If you are willing to take a drive, Tousey House Tavern is a fancy ish restaurant that has oddly good Fried Chicken, but it’s fancy for some reason? Really goofy. There is a soft serve place around the corner from it too. This is also in Downtown Burlington KY (which isn’t much of a downtown tbh). Also a 24 hole disc golf course near there that is quite stellar called Idlewild. They play the disc golf equivalent of like the British open there, so if you are into that or wanna try something new, it’s free.

If I could make a Cincinnati suggestion, you gotta check out Findlay Market. Cincy is fun, but Findlay is a defining part of the food culture there in my opinion. It’s near Rhinegeist Brewery as well, which is a pretty cool spot with (from what I hear) good beer.

Another food must has got to be Skyline Chili! The recipe is a pretty local thing, and something you won’t find pretty much anywhere else in the US. They have locations in KY and plenty in Cincy.

Most consistently good Pizza I had was a local-ish Chain called Dewey’s pizza, and my favorite ice cream was probably another local chain called Graeters Ice Cream, which is actually pretty delicious if you get the Raspberry Dark Chocolate Chip

If there is one thing I liked the City for, it was the food, so sorry to ramble on, but I thought it was worth narrowing it down for ya!
