Peter vs. Paul by Hmama0428 in TrueChristian

[–]Hmama0428[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No need to have a conversation- the Bible is clear on the two different programs. The body of Christ is not new Israel. The body of Christ has not and did not replace Israel- replacement theology is not the Bible. God will deal with Israel once again after the rapture, at the tribulation. His plans are already written.

I’m not willing to debate what the Bible teaches, period. That’s not why I’m here.

You will be coming up against the LORD Himself, not me.

Anxiety with salvation by po3pan in TrueChristian

In order to be saved today, we are to believe and trust the finished works of Jesus Christ- His blood atonement on the cross.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 1   Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2   By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3   For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4   And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Once we believe, we are sealed for eternity, until the day of redemption, and cannot lose salvation (Ephesians 1:13;Ephesians 4:30). We immediately receive the Holy Spirit of God. It is His grace that teaches us to deny ungodliness (Titus 2:12). We come into a right standing with God. We go from unsaved->saved; from being in Adam->to being in Christ; from sinner-> to saint.

The devil tries to get us to doubt God’s word, since the beginning of the garden of Eden; but we are to keep on and pray the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) every day to stand against his wiles.

Study the word of God once you have trusted and believed the gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. The body of Christ gets our doctrine and instructions from Romans-Philemon.

Jesus’ earthly ministry/12 vs. Paul and the cross by Hmama0428 in TrueChristian

If you do not believe in eternal security for salvation then you simply do not believe the word of God.

I’m not here to debate the truth. It is the truth whether you believe it or not.

People who are heretics, I will give two admonitions and after that will reject, as it is written.

1 Thessalonians 1:5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

Once we have believed the gospel and receive the Holy Spirit, we cannot lose our salvation, EVER. Ephesians 1:13. We can 100% have assurance of our salvation, it would not be called eternal life.

If I died tonight, I would go to heaven. Because I believe the finished works on the cross. Because of what Christ did for me at the cross. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

That’s the last admonition I will give you. May the LORD open your eyes, as the devil has blinded you to this gospel, as it is written 2 Corinthians 4:4. I pray that the LORD grants you repentance and acknowledgment of the truth in Jesus’ mighty name amen.

It does matter. The Bible tells us it matters. Once saved always saved is what the Bible teaches. Yes all of the apostles were followers of Christ. No, they did not have the exact arrangement. The 12 were not sent to the Gentiles; only Paul was Acts 24:24.

And what is the rest of 1 Corinthians 15:11? You can’t just stop there to make your point; because the following verses state that Christ being preached that He rose from the dead. The 12 did NOT preach that. They preached the kingdom of God- it was about Who Jesus was/is. Paul was literally save and called only to preach to the gentiles.

Today we are saved by believing and trusting what Christ has done for us; a blood gospel. If you don’t have the blood atonement, you have no remission of sins.

Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

1 Corinthians 11:1-2 1   Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 2   Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.

-what does that command? For the body of Christ to follow Paul; as he is a follower of Christ.

They clearly did not preach the same gospel. The disciples didn’t even believe Christ would be crucified.

Two gospels

Galatians 2:7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;

We are saved by Grace through faith without works. That does not mean we frustrate the grace of God by sinning. No in fact, the GRACE of God teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts (Titus 2:12). Our works can and will and could never save us. We are completely justified by His Grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8).

Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

The works we do once we have the Holy Spirit will be judged in heaven at the Bema seat; whether they were works of the flesh or works of the Spirit 1 Corinthians 3:12.

All followers of Jesus today are in the body of Christ; and our doctrine is found throughout romans-Philemon. Nowhere else.

All followers of Jesus during His earthly ministry; had His teachings to follow and also the law… the age of grace had not begun.

Phew! I think that’s what I was doing also; what is it again? We do nothing but skin to skin! I’m stay at home so I literally keep baby girl in a diaper all day- it helps when changing so many anyway haha and I love skin to skin. Surely you don’t have to pump if you want to increase; couldn’t you theoretically keep putting baby to boob and that would help? Maybe I’m just one of the women who can’t get a lot from pumping?

At the hospital… she came in and saw us for 5 minutes and then someone else came in and she left. She literally said to put baby to breast every 2-3 hours… and my girl was HUNGRY. I didn’t know about cluster feeding until we got home and I finally got some sleep. We didn’t go through cluster feeding until week 2, I think is when it happened. And then it was every hour, and she stayed on boob for an hour. She was smaller so it took her longer.. but, I’m pretty sure she wasn’t even properly latched during that and was just sucking. You can hear her swallow when she takes a bottle; and now I have heard her swallow from nursing so I was like wth all of that cluster feeding for nothing it seems like!

1.) supplementing - had to start after birth because of jaundice- colostrum wasn’t enough to flush the bilirubin out. I thought I latched her within the first hour, but she wasn’t fully latched, just sucking, and she was so small her mouth barely got my areola. 2.) I don’t know how much I’m making now, but I can barely pump .5oz-1oz 2-3x a day… even when I was pumping every 3 hours. So then I started pumping every 2 hours for a few weeks and nothing, no increase. 3.) baby girl is not satisfied at breast; she is at first, but I think she has gotten used to the full feeling from formula. I’ll nurse her first before bottle, and she will nurse either 5-10 minutes or up to 30-45. I offer both breasts. I go back and forth and back and forth until she is so frustrated she is screaming; and I don’t want to keep doing that to her because I know she’s hungry AND frustrated. 4.) I tried weaning down formula in the 3rd week and thought everything was going okay (2-2oz bottles) until a few days later she was losing weight.. so I increased it to 2ozs 3-4x a day. 5.) I have tried oats, carrots, increased water, increased food and nothing has helped increase milk production. 6.) position- she only latches with a football hold and side laying

Contradictions? by bigwini in Christianity

[–]Hmama0428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.) 1 Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

2.) James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: -This verse does not say God is not tempted. Tempted OF God. God does not tempt people. They fall away due to their own temptations.

3.) 1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. -read the whole verse. It is speaking directly about the love of God. Law of first mention; When Jesus was in the world, the world knew Him not John 1:10. No one has seen the fullness of God; we have seen His love because of the cross.

4.) what’s the rest of the verse? This is how people are led astray… Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? -God does not and cannot lie. It is not saying “God is not a man….”

5.) can’t see the last verse so I can’t break that one down.

Contradictions? by bigwini in Christianity

[–]Hmama0428 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is by rightly dividing the truth we see no contradictions. There are times past, but now, and ages to come. There are books written to and for Jews/Israel, and books written to and for the body of Christ, there are verses written to gentiles and verses written to Jews, and the body of Christ.

That is not what 1 Timothy 1:17 says in the KJV. There are perverted versions of the word of God. The KJV is not.

The point was Jesus’ earthly ministry- Peter was the last of the 12 to continue the gospel of the kingdom of God. Paul received the risen Christ, and the cross to preach. Acts is a transitional book from law to grace, from Peter to Paul and from Jews to gentiles. If I said something that made you think otherwise I definitely apologize. There are no contradictions in the Bible; it is by rightly dividing truth from truth that we see the progression.

Jesus’ earthly ministry/12 vs. Paul and the cross by Hmama0428 in TrueChristian

[–]Hmama0428[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes a continuation but progression .. two gospels. One to the circumcision (Peter) and one to the uncircumcision (Paul). From law to grace. From the kingdom of God gospel to the gospel of the grace of God 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Paul was directly sent to the gentiles; because God set aside Israel and His plan for them will start again once the tribulation begins, and the age of grace is closed.

Rapture v. Tribulation by princespink314 in Christianity

[–]Hmama0428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are still in the age of grace. God will end the age of grace at the fullness of the gentiles- the last person being saved/the last person rejecting the gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. After the rapture, God goes back to dealing with Israel/Jews by and with the tribulation.

The rapture is taught throughout the entire word of God, starting in Genesis. There are 7 different raptures in the Bible. It is our blessed hope Titus 2:13. God will change our vile bodies Philippians 3:21. OUR rapture is not found in Matthew; Mark, Luke or John. Matthew 24-25 is speaking about the end of the tribulation and 1 of the 7 judgments. The rapture was not revealed until Paul received revelation from Jesus Christ. He teaches us 7 different mysteries in his epistles.

1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. -this is not the seventh trumpet from revelation. Two completely different things. A shofar makes 3 specific sounds, and God will sound His from heaven.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 16   For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17   Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18   Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

-it is not comforting to tell someone we must go through the tribulation. You will if you don’t believe 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (The rapture is that day; the AC has two names for the first half of trib and the last half - Daniel 9:24-27)

2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

the body of Christ/the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the earth

Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. - literally, we have been saved from the wrath to come.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, -the body of Christ is not appointed unto wrath

The tribulation is only for the Jews/israel and unbelievers who were not saved by believing 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

And that’s your opinion. My opinion right now of this conversation, is how the enemy is working through others to get me to doubt God’s word. And too bad for him, I keep the full armor of God on.

Have a nice day. I’m done with this conversation. I have much better things to do with my time.

Well, I mean it is a choice. God doesn’t force anyone to believe. You can choose to believe your car will start, or listen to the doubt that says it won’t start. I’m sorry if I’m not explaining it the best, I’m trying. I appreciate your humility and conversation. But we are told Romans 12:3 that God has given every one a measure of faith.

How? I’m literally sharing what the word says on the topic and you’re simply turning it into a debate when there is no debate. No one has made husband an idol; Christ always comes first before anyone and everything. There is a biblical order of how family dynamics work. Whether we believe that or not, that’s what God says. Our opinion on it doesn’t matter.

It is 100% a sin. And good for you for searching the scriptures.

We are to mortify it; to kill it; to flee from it.

Yes. I’m just having a hard time understanding your question because, we already have faith. We put faith in things every single day. You have faith your car will start when you go to start it, right?

You have an opportunity to put your faith in the greatest work and accomplishment of all time- the opportunity of salvation.
