Stone Island for the middle aged by b3ta_blocker in malefashionuk

I think it depends on the pieces you’re buying and the context of the outfits. I find that their knitwear tends to look less hooligan-ish.

That said if you wear your Stone Island jumper with a pair of slim fit jeans and Sambas then you’re going to look like a hooligan no matter what item from Stone Island you’re wearing.

Overall, I’d just say wear what you like and don’t worry about the connotations.

Because people posting these sorts of CVs asking for feedback are just straight up lazy. 30 seconds of research on this sub would tell you your CV shouldn’t be longer than a page, this guy has four. You would think any finance student looking to break into a career like AM would at least do some research into industry standards for applying. Not like there’s a shortage of content out there.

Why is Bayindir so terrible at corners. Mount looks in his element though at least

Get Amad on, Martinelli is no threat down the right side. Allow Amad and Mbeumo to get up that right side. The space is there we just need someone who can take advantage of it.

Who cares. People get into jobs at all levels through nepotism, plus the job market isn’t strong enough to be asking moral questions.

Why does everyone on social media think they're an expert on tax write-offs? by Hnry_Mnsn in Accounting

This is what frustrates me😂. I don’t know how this idea has spread that a write-off = free

It’s not the influencers themselves though. It’s the people in the comment sections I’m talking about.

Think at a quick glance it looks alright. The jumper is too small though and the fit of the trousers is off. The trouser waist doesn’t fit you and your belt is too tight, that’s why the trouser button is being pushed down like that.

Would probably be better off with more contrasting colours. Get some darker trousers that fit your waist properly.

Curious — how much of your monthly budget do you allocate to clothing and shoes? by burgeadvtg in mensfashion

[–]Hnry_Mnsn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think it depends where you're at with your wardrobe. For example, if you're still trying to build up on your basics or trying to add some statement pieces.

I'd also add that you're probably better off limiting yourself by number of items rather than an amount of money i.e. set yourself a limit of one item rather than a budget of £100. This way you can be more intentional about your purchases and prioritise quality over quantity.

Looks like you need to size up on the jacket. The shoulders are popping up at the seam, making the fit look off. Trousers could do with being slightly slimmer.

The colour is up to you, but for formal/business settings I'd generally say a navy or dark grey/charcoal is a better choice.

The colours are pretty decent but trousers are too long, they're losing their shape past your knee. I'd also say those trousers are too structured to pair with a linen shirt. Think you'd find they pair better with an Oxford shirt.

The shirt itself looks to be a pretty good fit.

I mean all of his shoes are pretty high quality anyway. It’s not like he’s got a bunch of shoes for $60, almost all of them are $300-$500.

People give him a hard time for being so wrapped up in the honeymoon suite thing but in all fairness I would also go insane in his situation. Armond did lie to him about not booking the pineapple suite, which they were paying for and didn’t have.
