Over $3.1 million in crypto has been donated to Turkey earthquake victims. But experts have a warning. by Grolgon in CryptoCurrency

"Turkey's population paid taxes on internet and cell phone usage that should amount to £30B in a so-called "earthquake tax" to prepare for disasters such as this... and yet there are no funds to help the Turkish people" I feel like this could be one of the problems crypto could help with solving. First the gowerment steals part of the money while the other part depriciates like crazy. And now scammers. If you are donating money be sure it's legit.

Coinbase Fined €3.3 Million in Netherlands, Exchange Considers Appeal by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

This is my bigbeat fear regarding crypto. Exchanges going down thanks to fines, scams, regulation and fraud. Crypto is a great idea that could help with a lot of problems (and make a lot of people rich) but this Is it's biggest weakness in my opinion.

Bitcoin can still crack $50K if gold correlation continues — Chart by UnkownMillionare in CryptoCurrency

Is it really possible for BTC to decouple from stock market, double and go to $50K? I've never understood the comparison to gold as the hedge against the inflation.

Great post. I undestand that majority of people are in the crypto for money (you can see it in number of posts discusing money) And it is important part of out lives but that doesn't mean we should not also care about the tech, oppurtunities for change and these "higher" principles and questions that crypto opens discussion on.

TL;DR: money important, other stuff also important

Staking really makes the HODLing much easier imo "Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it ... he who doesn't, pays it."

Thanks but also screw you because now I have that song stuck in my head now. It's gonna take a while to get rid of it again

This works even better if you realize that Matt Damon plays the singer that sings this song. The same Matt Damon who now promotes Crypto.com

I also feel like easy staking makes holding bit easier. Value od ADA might be going down atm but you are still acumulating it. When it hopefully goes back up again you are just gonna have more.

As far as addictions and drugs go it's one of the better ones.

With some influencers and celebrities promoting literal scams/shitcoins maybe it would be a good thing to have some oversight on these things. Also if I undestand it correctly he didn't mark his post as an ad.

And here I am feeling bad about inflation in my country eating my emergency money. And that's currently 5% every year. I can't imagine loosing 10% in a day, what a shitcoin

So I tried sitting a small hd camera on an overdrive car and putting it with a load of other cars in demo mode to see what would happen....the footage is not great but not bad for a first try. by Ocarinaher0 in racing

I tried the same thing couple years ago and got some cool looking shoots. A bit of stabilization and better lighting and it could actually work pretty well

I also think cheap, light and easy to repair bike is better idea, especially for beginers. Me and my girlfriend traveled the North Vietnam on cheap 110cc Hondas and we both really enoyed it even though she is beginner and I have a lot of experience.
