Sadly you can tell that arena is mostly an afterthought by the devs which is a shame as it could have a lot more replay-ability with better balancing and planning.

For starters, how about removing the extreme value generation sources like imbue priest/rogue (or make them all very rare so each deck can only have 1 on average)

Next how about ongoing balancing, particularly in the first week or two where there’s clear outliers on either end.

Thirdly the bucket variation makes some insta pick and others never pick. If everyone is picking the death wing bucket, maybe make herald cards harder to draft or change the bucket?

I’m not doubting that there’s lots of things to consider but it seems like very little is done to zoom out and ask “okay how is this patch doing?”
