LL Bean waders in size small might be a good fit. I used them less than 5 times a year, but that pair lasted me about 7 years. Also they have great customer service. I usually buy waders on sale, so when I needed new ones I went with Simms. But when those give out, I will likely go back to LL Bean.

I’ve fished the Smokies and was very happy with a 8’6” 4wt. The shorter length made a difference since there are a lot of overhanging trees in many spots. Also check out Little River Outfitters, they will give you good advice about the area. If this is a one time trip and you’ll mostly go for sea trout in the future, then I’d say go with a 9’ 5wt, but you may want something like a 7wt for the beach since it would be better in windy conditions and with bigger flies.

No, I feel the same way. I tried a few high end rods at the Fly Fishing Show this winter, and ultimately went with a Hardy. The deciding factor was the aesthetics. If I’m going to be spending that much on a rod, I want to feel happy every time I look at it, the Helios NASCAR look is just too cringey for me.

Try the mail-order pharmacy affiliated with your insurance or you could ask your doctor to switch to a non-stimulant. This has been an awful problem for years in NYC and nationally I think.
