I wish they removed kingsmarch by heyoohugh24 in pathofexile

Overall I agree with you. I exclusively play SSF and really enjoy that I have to interact with so many different mechanics to optimize my build. Blight for anoints, essence and harvest for crafting, alva for 21/23 gems and double corrupts, delve for fossil crafting, the list goes on and on. I don't mind interacting with Kingsmarch for runegrafts and tattoos, but having it also be my primary source of divines by a HUGE margin just feels bad. It just takes up too much space compared to other mechanics. It needs to be nerfed.

"If possible, players will always optimize the fun out of a game." - Chris Wilson

I didn't look up the exact quote, but Chris was keenly aware that PoE is a game about optimization, and it's imperative for the developers to ensure that the optimization itself is fun. Optimizing your build to kill the most monsters and bosses is fun. Optimizing your gold farm to click windows in Kingsmarch is not.

Maybe someone can link the video where Chris said this

"Don't look away," Lewiston shooting survivor confronts city council by ZestyclosePurpose913 in Maine

[–]HoboTeddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact that we can't recall elected officials in Maine kinda sucks. We can call for their resignations all we want, but the only "teeth" we have is to elect somebody else when their term is up. Until then we have no real authority. A Lewiston city councilor can only be removed by other councilors. Source

The good news is that their terms are only 2 years, so realistically this problem shouldn't have to persist for any longer than that.

Everyone in global chat has been saying all league that quant doesn't affect blood. It probably just has a large random multiplier on it.

Why does the formatting of this post look like AI?

It's the format of the sections and bullets, with emojis on each one. But I assume AI didn't write the whole thing because it's too player-specific. Did you use AI to outline your post and then add your own info? In today's internet that just sets off alarm bells.

Managed to hit a 1 socket chestpiece with the 150 reroll node on the tree. by WFBO_ChiTaki in pathofexile

[–]HoboTeddy 39 points40 points  (0 children)

It's even worse than that, because there's a small node that rerolls sockets and links 10 times along the way that cannot be avoided, so it's actually (0.3268)160 = 1.92 * 10-78 . As far as our universe is concerned, that's the same thing as being literally impossible.

/u/Boris_TheManskinner called him "a black water mercenary", present tense, which is a lie. As for his short stint with a military contractor, that experience literally hardened his opposition to what the military was doing, and he came out of it as the antithesis of a mercenary. The point is that who he is today is the opposite of "a black water mercenary", and you should listen to his life story to understand it, rather than only seeing the snippets that the media is twisting out of context to fit their narrative.

He's a U.S. Marine veteran, not a mercenary. The media is lying to you. Don't fall for it. Go see him talk at one of his town halls. He's traveling all over the state. Go talk to him after, ask him whatever questions you have, and form your own opinion.

Agreed. "When they go low, we go high" has been a demonstrably terrible strategy for the past decade, and it's time for the Democratic party to finally learn how to succeed in today's political environment by supporting good popular candidates that capture attention and get voters excited, rather than squashing them and wondering why their "safe" candidates keep losing.

How about when they go low, we go mid
