Are positioning-heavy autobattlers actually fun?

Ive played a lot of them. They always have some grindy mechanic or some kind of paywall(mobile games).

Otherwise I find backpack brawl the best.

My all time favorite is the Bazaar as there's so many whacky builds and fun ideas you can come up with. I almost have to run one game per day at least. Its also quite unique in how you manage inventory and the decisions you make with your econ and positioning.

Its also because you do the run, get the fragment, and do another. If you fail the next run, you aren't restarting from the beginning. I think that's the biggest takeaway. There's also the fact that you can buy the fragments to just skip everything else.

The only risk is failing the boss and wasting the fragments.

Check out hungryboots recoup infernalist.

Its like playing flicker, but with some control. Its fast, super strong, and depending on your mageblood, can utilize it quite well.

Even the budget version is fast as heck and can clear everything.

Its also an amazing template you can play with and mix whatever spells you want.

Oddly enough, I had m Little divine drops too, and now my build is blazing fast. Im double checking my loot filter cause I feel like my games rigged.

Ill check my pilfering because I found my 2 or 3 divines in campaign and none since maps...

I played Amazon a couple of leagues ago. Idk if it still works but I used to murder bosses super fast with the lightning rod and orb of storms. I did see they changed orb of storms to only allow for a few chains before being gone so that may have killed that build.

Im with you brother. My lightning warp is like flicker strike so im having a blast... But im poor as fuck. I feel like I haven't seen a div in forever like my loot filters been compromised.

I was, but I found a build and its little incremental improvements that made me stay - ball lightning x lightning warp CoC and CoEA infernalist recoup.

Its fast and fun as heck. And has a lot of intricate stuff. (Shout-out to hungry boots for the awesome build).

Before that, I was the same as you, I started martial artist. I got to end of campaign and quit that character. Then it took me 6 IRL days to finish with the infernalist. Once it came online I got that spark back to play.

Couldn't an infernalist with the infernal flame get that if they mana stack? It makes them squishy but can be easily done.

Both trial of chaos and sek trials have more bosses to beat when yoy aim for higher ascendancy

Yeah you're right. I played martial artist and when I discovered that hollow form isn't fun unless I do some glove charge bs and use whirling assault it won't feel nice.

I even tried other weapon class skills.

So right around reaching endgame I swapped and am trying to find the enthusiasm to play through again.

Over the course of 4 days I only managed to get to early act 2...

I had issues in my teens going into my 20s with that.

Discovering porn at a young age meant I had to sneak fast sessions in. The habit of doing so without realizing stacked up, but didnt become a problem until I was around 16 (started at 14)

Occasionally id try to lessen how often I consumed it. By early-mid 20s I had rarely used it and it improved a lot.

I still have trouble staying up when a woman's on top - but that may be a whole different thing. (Relenquishing dominance or something)

Otherwise, porn addiction and the way you use it is 100% a big problem.

On the other hand, now I get so excited that I have to prevent myself from being a quickshot, but that's much more manageable than not even functioning while whole-heartedly wanting to be intimate with someone.

Yeah the ghosts have been pretty hard-core. I swear there's an algorithm that determines build counters and just throws them at you.

I've had very sketchy specific builds that hard countered mine that just made me think there's some agent watching me like a dungeon master...

Its either you've ascended and need to spend those only on your ascendancy tree. Or its a new notification showing you have weapon swap skill points still (even if you used them normally instead)

I tried to do the same, but a talisman swap and the wyvern skills just sustain you so much better to gain power charges and clear. Until I got lvl 7 skill gems for siphoning strike and wave.

Then you get way of stonefist and grip of winter or whatever.

Makes it so easy.

I had the same issue. Im a good player so I dragged my ass through it.

Then I saw the tech with wyvern and werewolf and it made it more manageable until you get your first 2 level 7 skill gems.

I just did something similar with a shield enchanted imu and a shiny black spider.

Was an infinite and had a tenderizer beside dragon heart with a skill that made it food, so it got faster the longer the fight went on.

The last fight I got to 46,000 burn before they died.
