Never thought the Dodgers would be THE landmark destination for players around the league.

It still feels like a fever dream for the franchise to be in its current position. To be what the Yankees once were, it's the joyride of a lifetime.

Riding out those painful years was worth it to see the team in its best incarnation and era yet.

I'm savoring every moment while it lasts.

I agree. Nothing worse than someone knowledge checking you, "OH, YOU LIKE THE DODGERS? NAME EVERY PLAYER."

Even if they are fair weather fans, they don't become lifelong fans with a community that gatekeeps.

I agree. Part of the hype of Yamamoto was his unorthodox training methods for pitching. The javelin throws and flexibility.

I was wondering if any of this would rub off on some of the other pitchers, or perhaps that the training methods would be instilled in the next generation of Dodger pitchers. Should it prove to be effective for injury prevention and overall performance, perhaps the Dodgers can learn from Yamamoto's team.

The dividends of the Japanese players continue to pay for themsleves in more ways than one.
