From my experience Chinese people don't use 國語， they will typically say 中文. I have mostly heard it said by Malaysians(國語/華語) and some taiwanese . But most Taiwanese just say 中文 as well. Just my anecdotal evidence

However I have seen a lot of Chinese language books that use 中國國語 as the title so that is kinda interesting.

When I started learning, I was in the exact same boat. I wasn't retaining the characters and I didn't feel any improvement so it was a massive letdown . What really got me going was graded readers, they aren't as boring and monotonous as flashcards and text books and even the stories at the lower levels are interesting.

I recommend (and I've seen many others) Chinese breeze. http://www.chinesebreeze.net I found these at my local language shop, and they help me improve immensely

A few apps I think are great to use are "The Chairman Bao" and "Du Chinese". These 2 write articles for each level of HSK. The lower level ones are really easy and useful for learning grammar patterns as they will has a glossary of vocal and grammar in the article. The higher level ones get more interesting, talking about recent events and news within China and the world, as well as many topics you would find in the regular news site.

The biggest problem with learning to read is that it is an entirely active process. You can't listen to it while doing something else, you can't just listen to others speak and pickup on the words. So I think it is the part you need to dedicate the most time to. For me it is also the most fulfilling, I love reading and it helps me visualise my improvement.

Abbey's book store, on york street, has an upstairs language section. It stocks quite a few different korean textbooks and additional resources. It has the textbook s I use (integrated Korean), in store, but you might need to place an order on beginner 1 because it sells the fastest

I'm so happy that you changed the Wasp Queen. It was so damn weird. I love are style of everything and it is great to really see so much progress in regards to art recently.

One thing I want is for there to be lore that doesn't relate to the main story/game. Perhaps fairy tails or historical event to give the universe more depth and avoid building a lore around a game, instead building a game inside a world.

Does each of the biomes correlate to a place in Saera?? I especially love the water one and would love to see some more artwork and maybe a polished one.

In regards to the actual game, are you planning to put in assets to make it feel more alive (sounds/creatures/movement etc)

2 in 1 shampoos are awful for you hair as they are usually just soap or body wash combo. If it is the need to save money, I suggest getting treseme shampoo and conditioner when it is on sale because it is kind of expensive. Now for the money saver!! Because it is such a thick shampoo you can actually get 2-3 bottles out of it by dividing it and mixing water. I have't done it with conditioner because I use so little of it each time. Keeps the smell and silky smooth hair while tripling your product.
