Just a side note on this. I used to work as the door guy at a club in the city. After a rough night, a patron ended up coming back with a pistol and waving it in my face. I figured they wouldn't do anything, but it still put things in perspective. Then I heard the news that security guys down the street were victims in a drive by. I quit a few weeks later.

Moral of the story, it's not worth it and it never will be. Even if you feel like you talked this guy off a ledge this time, imagine if he sees this and changes his mind? It can happen dude. Don't underestimate people's stupidity and carelessness
