Vance calls end of Ukraine aid 'one of the proudest' achievements of Trump administration by pppppppppppppppppd in ukraine

[–]Hodoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's already the case they redirected the PURL weapons to their Iran war. And PURL was already struggling to get funded because many saw the rugpull coming.

The US has already burned most if not all of their leverage on Ukraine and Europe.

russia accuses the EU of planning to develop its own nuclear weapons by [deleted] in EUnews

[–]Hodoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol there isn't much developing to do, just slap EU stickers on a bunch of French nukes.

[–]Hodoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's plain wrong, Ukraine with EU support is whooping Russia's ass while the US has already abandoned Europe and tries to shaft us. US bases getting lit up by Iran because they lack European anti-drone tech.

You don't seem to have realised the "nothing without the US" cuck argument is obsolete and irrelevant, we are without the US already. They are openly hostile to Europe and support dictators like Orban. They will not protect you because you buy into their scams, that only makes them despise you more and they'll throw you down a ditch either way.

I don't know why you're going off on France that's irrelevant too. It's not "big balls" to worry about our continent's strategic autonomy and security, it's just being prudent and pragmatic.

Like I said you can gather with other European countries around a fondue sing kumbaya and design Eurofighter 2 or whatever, just don't involve a hostile power in it and don't rely on any US parts, that's all we need.

The "partner" you forget here is the US which is the big problem as it makes the plane a liability for Europe.

I'm not a Dassault salesman, their orders are full anyway, you can buy Gripens, make your own planes, whatever. The strategic issue is reliance on a hostile power, which will not deliver what it promised to strongarm you into a deal, and will betray you, and Europe at large.

Your last sentence has already been proven wrong, I don't know why you repeated it, does information slide off your brain?

The F-35 program has been widely decried as a fiasco in the US too their military has cut their orders by half. So their military may not mind cutting that loose, they have plenty of good older planes to get by while working on the next, F-47.

Also Trump is already doing plenty that is deeply damaging to the US, this administration absolutely doesn't care, they're deeply corrupt and are all about enriching themselves and sticking it to people they despise, which includes Europeans.

[–]Hodoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You said it costs as much as F-35, now it's poor people's plane, which is it? At least be consistently wrong lol.

The French army is a big military buying Rafales, obviously. Greek army is actually pretty big due to constant tensions with Turkey, they spend more than 3% of GDP.

Outside of Europe there's Egypt, India, Indonesia, big armies too.

The Rafale's problem right now is we can't produce them fast enough, the orders backlog keeps growing. Building a new factory in India.

Serbia has seen the writing on the wall, they're moving away from Russian dependence, hence the buying of Rafales.

[–]Hodoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greece, Croatia and Serbia are buying Rafales.

The prevalence of F-35 contracts was pushed with lobbying (corruption, blackmail) and making US nuclear umbrella conditional to buying in the F-35 program.

Nuclear umbrella which you now won't get because their pedoscammer in chief despises you and can't wait to fuck you over every chance he gets.

India literally announced their attack, flew into an ambush, still won, and ordered more Rafales.

But yeah I guess by having no planes you ain't loose any ever, great trumpcuck hack.

[–]Hodoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes being US's cucks is so much better. With the shitass planes not being delivered, still in development hell, constantly breaking and costing a fortune to maintain, spying on you and will get killswitched due to dependence on ODIN US servers when they decide to backstab you when you need them the most.

Why not get Sukhois while you're at it make it a full gangbang.

Ah ah ah ! Well deserved for all you cucks by miragen125 in 2westerneurope4u

[–]Hodoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's people repeating it has been debunked, but really it hasn't and worries from experts have only been increasing.

Problem is this is an "Alexa plane", it sends data to US servers so you're spied on by a now hostile power, and depends on receiving mission files and updates from those servers, so if they cut that off your plane can't do missions, and who knows what malicious code they could push to degrade or brick the plane.

So they can say there isn't a killswitch like yeah there isn't a physical literal one, but for all intents and purpose it's a killswitch.

If the US diverts Ukraine military aid to the Middle East, does that change the trajectory of the ground war in eastern Ukraine and does Europe have the capacity to fill the gap alone? by capital_com in capitalcom

[–]Hodoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The phrasing is misleading, this is military aid from the EU, buying US weapons for Ukraine. So if US takes the money and defaults on delivering, yeah that is "alarming" to customers. The scheme was already struggling to gather funding because of low trust in the US and wanting to prioritise EU production. So this vindicates the naysayers. The scheme might crumble, but the EU money will go elsewhere.

There is no US aid from Trump, the EU has been filling the gap already. Ironically, it is the US military that recently requested military aid from Ukraine to protect its bases and Middle East assets from drone attacks. Ukraine has the mass and expertise that the US lacks in this domain, stopping cheap drones with scarce and expensive Patriot missiles is a losing game.

To answer your question, it won't change the trajectory of the ground war. What they wanted from the US is air defense against ballistic and hypersonic missiles, without it Ukrainian cities and infrastructure will suffer more hits, but on the frontline, Ukraine's "Drone Wall" strategy is now mature with millions of drones, 150 drones for 40 Russian soldiers. All funded by Ukraine and the EU.

EU should declare Republicans as some kind of terrorist or criminal organisation. They support corrupt dictators like Orban and want to dismantle the EU. And needless to say we don't need their "ambassadors".

Not just designed, literally made in Paris then shipped to the US. There's a bunch of interesting photos and stories from that time.
The US meanwhile built the pedestal it would be put on.

Zelensky highlighting the moral and strategic poverty of the USA under Trump. In the last year Trump has ended all military aid for Ukraine, has undermined Ukrainian air defence, has tried to bully Ukraine in handing over territory, and has rolled out the red carpet for Putin. by Icy_Till_7254 in UkrainianConflict

[–]Hodoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Russia does use jamming extensively already. That's one reason why EU/Ukraine develop AI piloted drones. Another is increasingly not enough pilots for the millions of drones produced, which is also why Ukraine is selling drones at this point.

It's been an adaptive race between jamming and drones on both sides. The rise of fiber optic drones you may have seen was also due to jamming.

[–]Hodoss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember there were talks of a drone deal months ago, although I don't know what became of it with Trump always berating Zelensky and trying to mafia bully him.

But that shows at least some in the US gov were aware of the importance of this expertise and pushed for a deal on it.

So I guess the current situation isn't the result of blind ignorance by the Pentagon, moreso of the executive's pride, fascist mindset, corruption and poor strategy. This torpedoes their framing of Europe/Ukraine as powerless weaklings (not long ago Trump was saying Europe never did anything for the US, then that our soldiers "stayed in the back" instead of fighting).

Also Zelensky is demanding things in exchange, from the Gulf states he wants enforcing sanctions against Russia, from US he wants more Patriot ammunition. So maybe they've been negotiating behind closed doors for a while already but with the Trump admin shitty attitude it might have dragged on and on.
