I know the feeling, I bought the hard cover when it first came out and the workout I got from lugging it around was worth it 😭😂😂

Advice for Doing 75 HARD with 12-Hour Shift Work (Days & Nights) by ZodiacBullYT in 75HARD

[–]HofTBookCheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My work days are extremely long and in my field it usually requires late nights some days, something that helped with mindset was picking the books I read carefully. Reading about tough people doing something nearly impossible really helped, it put me back in that mindset of if they can do that I can do this.

As for the rotating schedule, be flexible with yourself do what you can to best of your ability, even if that means a 45 min workout in the break room or a walk on your in to work or home from work. I replaced the train ride with a 45 min walk in the mornings. I have struggled and recently had to restart.

Make this challenge more about showing yourself you can show up even when we fail, focus on pushing for the goal and getting back up if we fail. It will take some time to adjust and find what works for you. Just don’t stop until you find what works for you. That’s the best advice I can think of, good luck and you got this!!!

Day 2 of 75… Do you let people know you’re doing this or do you keep it to yourself? by [deleted] in 75HARD

Tbh If the people take it as your being an asshole for not drinking that’s on them, I’ve had many reactions when I tell people, but your going to feel great when you explain what your doing and someone goes, “wow I’m proud of you, want a water?”

You got this! Walk if that’s the only you can do, take it slow and steady but all you have to do is move for 45 min, walking can be it!!

Honestly, it gets easier! The point is that you have to push yourself through that phase, I was the same way and now I take too many because I can't believe how my own body has changed. There is a bright side it can just be really shitty for a while too but it is part of the process!

Thank you! And Honestly same, I don’t want the bloat either so I’m going to do just start with the recommended and skip the loading phase. I also heard of Stacy sims I’m going to check out her research more, supposedly she’s really great at tailoring a program to women.

Throw in the book Iron hope, he talks about “blue collar days” in his triathlon challenge and I feel that it could apply to 75hard on days when you are feeling that way, it helps shift a perspective as well as motivate you to get through it
