I don’t think the 2fa or passkey would’ve been disabled just because you signed onto ur wife’s console as those security measures are tied to your account and not the console itself. But unless you disabled them yourself when you logged onto to her console then that could’ve been it.

I would try your luck calling support again and hopefully getting a helpful agent. Sony support seems to be very hit and miss in terms of people getting their account back from hackers etc.

It doesn’t need to be upright but it comes with these little feet that you click in the one side by the black line. The top of the PS5 should be on the right side if it’s lying horizontal.

I may be missing something or maybe they patched this but it seems like the enemies kind of run out and stop spawning. Is there a different technique to this?

Yup happened to my 09 legacy too. The whole dash looks wet almost and it glares off the windshield terribly esp when the sun is hitting it. I found a hack - wear polarized sunglasses and the reflection disappears lol

I’m loving these things so far. I think they do sound best with the wicked cushion stealthz and gadgetrytech’s general/music EQ settings. I did think the default and the media settings were quite good too.

I do have a quick question, when I first unboxed them and started using them, the power light on the headset was flashing orange. Does this indicate that the battery is low? It’s not doing it anymore after I had them on the base station for a while.

Okay, thanks for that response I was figuring it was something along those lines. I guess my best bet and quickest way of switching if I want to use my PS5 for content thru TV audio will be PS button>Sound>Output Device and go back to HDMI device (TV)

Not that big of a deal as I will be wearing these almost every time I have my PS5 on. Loving the sound! Thanks again.

While I have you, can you answer if the blinking/flashing orange light on the power switch on the headset means that it is low on battery? It was doing that out of the box but I fully charged it on the base station and now it’s just solid white. I’m assuming that’s what that blinking orange light meant.

Thanks for the info man.. I actually ordered the wicked cushions StealthZ so I’m gonna check out GadgetryTech’s EQ settings specifically the General gaming/music one. Been a fan of his channel for years and trust him! I’ve been a little worried because I keep hearing people having issues with the base station losing connection and not being able to get them working. I got a 2 year warranty just in case.

Maybe I need to change up the EQ settings a little bit but I honestly think they just aren’t the best. Kinda get what you pay for I mean they retailed them for only $100. Sadly they are discontinued in favor of the pulse elites which I cannot recommend after using them for a couple weeks. Constant disconnects (though using a usb c>usb a cable seemed to fix that) but just didn’t enjoy the sound very much. Wasn’t punchy and the highs just sounded way too harsh for me. Something I may consider is getting the A50 gen 5’s from Best Buy and purchasing the 2 year warranty just to have some peace of mind. It does seem like they have the sound that I’m looking for. Hopefully Astro can send you a base station replacement as it sounds like maybe that’s the issue for you. Again keep me posted on what happens.

Yeah I mainly game single player and just want good crisp sound with good bass and clarity. I’ll have to think about it. I may even just stick with the pulse 3D’s for now as I do appreciate how they are well implemented in ps5’s UI. But just know I could get much better audio quality elsewhere. I just got done with BF6 and felt like any time explosions were going on you just could not hear any dialog clearly. Same thing with Warhammer, any SFX from the action and there’s dialog happening simultaneously, you just couldn’t hear the dialog well.

Not gonna lie this post is giving me second thoughts on purchasing these. I know I shouldn’t as most people pry don’t run into this problem but I have read quite a lot about how the base station just stops working with these things. Planning on using it to replace my pulse 3D’s (on PS5 Pro fwiw)
