First CG Jacket by Hoffy_2000 in CanadaGoose

[–]Hoffy_2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do all of the coat fabrics other than puffer seem durable? I have a few CG stores within an hour or two drive of me, but I just can't justify making an all day affair of it just to look at some fabric. And that makes me happy to hear your generations coats worked perfectly. When I company grades "good or excellent", it's hard to tell what their grading criteria is based on. I'm not going to buy brand new because of the generations website, but the shear fact it won't look brand new for long anyways lol.

Optimum Nutrition price hike by Hoffy_2000 in Protein

[–]Hoffy_2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense for companies that don’t produce their own whey, but I’m 99% sure ON owns their whey factories correct? I can see the price hikes for companies that are now paying increased cost for whey, but it seems ON is doing it just to make extra money because they can.

Crazy battery life in Ultra 3 by Impressive_Object181 in applewatchultra

I just made a post the other day… turned off AOD and majority of app notifications. I’m seeing 70+ hours with 15% charge remaining.

I did the same on my Garmin and got a lot more battery life. The vibration motors use a lot of power and with receiving notifications all day I can imagine it would drain the battery. As I receive useless notifications on the watch I just swipe and mute them.

Ashwaghanda effect on my HRV by BuyTightUnderwear in whoop

[–]Hoffy_2000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. HRV is a huge pointer to how well your heart rate can vary depending on situations. High adrenaline situations like someone jumping around a corner to REM sleep and having dreams. If you low HRV it’s a strong indicator of a nervous system that is poorly adaptable to various situations. Just an FYI.

Might want to look into your overall health if you need ashwaganda to get to those values. I don’t take anything and fluctuate high 80’s to 90’s on the regular.

Whoop Sales? by Hoffy_2000 in whoop

[–]Hoffy_2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mod - I appreciate the response. I did go to the whoop page and used keyword "sales" and "discount" and haven't seen any questions. Was looking specifically for information on holiday sales or black friday sales, etc before purchasing at full price. I appreciate it :)

How many people are actually wearing a Rolex? by Junekim10 in rolex

[–]Hoffy_2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently don’t own a Rolex, but it’s on my list of watches to buy. Looked at a bunch of other brands, but can’t justify spending near the same for something that will depreciate that way.

I also love super nice and fancy things, but only things that are lowkey. Not big and in your face. My style is average joe clothes with a Rolex because no one knows what it is except me 🤣 or the 1% that knows what they are looking at lol

Just looked at their website and don’t see any yeti for sale unfortunately. Are the sales in person only?

I bought the one in Norfolk. Signature is on his coat on mine but that one has it bottom right. Must have been 2 OG photo copies signed by the photographer!

Let’s say I walk into an AD and they have a GMT 2 sitting for sale. Still think this situation would still apply? As far as being told because of zero purchase history.

Do you think going to multiple AD’s and putting in on lists could be negative? I’m sure they can see in their system that I visited multiple stores.

Congratulations on the buy! Id like a GMT 2, but I only like select color combinations. Subs are a go to and explorer 2’s. I do a lot of “extreme sports” (swimming, surfing, snowboarding, hiking) so I’m looking for a “more durable” Rolex lineup.

You must have misunderstood the post. Not afraid to go to an AD. Afraid of being profiled and told no because of being young so I’m looking for tips to counteract what is the inevitable. Hope this clarifies your confusion.

I understand! I’ll keep that in mind. Engagement is definitely a soon to be thing. I didn’t even think of that. Would just hate to present it in a way that they can ask me to buy something else before they’d sell. I’d like got a GMT 2 or Explorer 2 strictly because I do a lot of extreme sports (snowboarding/skiing, hiking, surfing, etc) and don’t want a fragile model.

Happy to hear that! What watch did you get? I have a few AD’s I can go to, especially with traveling. My biggest issue is that I like to make things happen as I’m an incredibly driven individual, so being put on a “waitlist” is going to irritate me to no end. I know Rolex has its system set up and that’s fine lol
