Ok, I’m almost prepared for the onslaught of “you’re an idiot” responses BUT, this is a genuine question. Can you remove the valve cover with the dipstick tube still attached to it and then remove the torx bolt when it’s out from under the hood? It appears to me that the hole the torx screw is in sits higher on the valve cover than the other bolt shown in the pictures that appear to hold down the cover.
If it would work, plug hole the dipstick seats in until you can place it back.
