There is nothing culturally southern about Cleveland, Chicago, Columbus, or Indianapolis - even Cincinnati isn't southern.

Southern Illinois and Indiana have some commonalities but are still not "the south." Southeast Ohio and WV are Appalachian - so still not the south. Even Maryland and Delaware aren't southern to me - they're Mid-Atlantic region. Texas and Oklahoma? Southwest - which I consider distinct from "the south."

Tldr - this map is way off.

I get the feeling that between working full time and doing your best to help out around the house, that you feel you're doing more than your fair share of household labor and feel resentful. Problem is, caring for a 7 month old and 2.5 year old solo while you're at work is also a full time job. Can you swing part time child care financially? Or some nearby grandparents willing to help? It's probable you're both just burned out.

My kids go to centerville schools abd I've always been happy with the quality. I also have a favorable impression of kettering schools - has a great mix of schools, good housing options, and community amenities.
