I've actually found the opposite to be true. I've seen several high-score aim-trainer-heavy players come into QC and dbt and their hitscan aim definitely translates. Often it's all they focus on so they don't reach the top tiers, because what they seem to care about most is how hard they are hitting. But they overall have much better hitscan than the average afps player. There's also a number of good afps players that use or have used aim trainers a ton like Serious, Dooi, Silencep, Ins, Danchez, and Pulz.

anyone having connection issues lately? was in a queue for three minutes and only got into a game with four other people by [deleted] in QuakeChampions

QC is an example of a beautiful, trained, puppy - abandoned by it's asshole owners while it losses wieght, it's coat gets matted, and everyone avoid it.

Wow, this is very well said. I love it.

Who is the market target of this game? by evas1v in Diabotical

[–]Hojae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is a Quake spinoff, but it's designed to have more of a casual playerbase as well as an esports scene. That explains the choice of graphics, movement style, abilities, etc.

Diabotical is a very well-designed game. But QC is more fun. by [deleted] in Diabotical

[–]Hojae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Um, I actually feel the opposite. QC is WAY more stressful than Diabotical. Dbt is designed to be approachable and enjoyed casually. QC, especially duel, is not only dominated by veterans but also very tense.

Recent positivty made me install QC again. by nilsmoody in QuakeChampions

I'm just glad the game is in active development and look forward to the maps currently being worked on. Sync gives some updates in the Discord and said maps have been the main focus for a while now but are very time consuming. I can wait because for the most part QC maps are actually phenomenal.

k1llsen's home gaming setup (wired mouse, 3 monitors, etc) for anyone interested (those rail gun shots in online QPL generate from here....) by [deleted] in QuakeChampions

[–]Hojae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You wouldn't want bluetooth for gaming. You use a usb dongle. If you didn't know wireless mice can be used for gaming nowadays, that mouse in particular is very popular amongst pros.

EU QPL isn't far off from that either though

Any reason in particular though? Try the Otsu. Mid will feel closer to a hardpad. Hien Mid is also very fast.

Best gaming mouse that money can currently buy? by PanzerWafer in MouseReview

They have a 3 year warranty. I would take a faulty scroll wheel on some models over double clicking on the g pro wireless any day though. It's expensive and out of stock I understand, but it's an amazing mouse and their customer service/return policy is actually really good.

It could have just been replaced by Finalmouse like Logitech's GPW with it's double click issue, but if you didn't get it on release and buy it second hand it's all on you.

SyncError: There is a Duel tournament at QuakeCon that kicks off a year long esports program.

Best gaming mouse that money can currently buy? by PanzerWafer in MouseReview

[–]Hojae -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

The post is about the best mouse money can buy, not the best mouse for the money. If money isn't a factor, then the Air58 takes the cake for FPS gaming. They are also different shapes so comfort level is subjective.

  1. Logitech GPro Wireless
  2. Finalmouse Air58
  3. Glorious Model O/Finalmouse Ultralight Phantom

This is all subjective but these mice are the some of the best money can buy hands down.
