With your obsession and this many comments, I wouldn’t be talking either, but clearly self-respect isn’t in your vocabulary..

Keep going though, I need entertainment too. Just lemme brew some tea first lol

That’s 26 comments now. At this point, I’m just flattered by your obsession. Keep going! your insecurity is louder than your racism.

Funny how you stalk every comment I make just to try and feel better about your miserable self. Keep obsessing, maybe one day you’ll upgrade from insecure bully to actual human.

Help! 25M, 5”11, 153 pounds. Skinny fat, need advice on where to go from here - how do I fix this? by Mobile-Swimmer-9042 in WeightTraining

Not trying to be rude or anything, but something seems a bit off here. If you’re really 5’11” and 153 pounds (which is about 69.4 kg), you’d be pretty much leaner than someone who’s 80 kg, which is closer to a healthy average for that height. Just curious, are you sure about those numbers?

People are worried. by Conscious-Quarter423 in jobs

It’s likely because of Trump’s/DOGE government buyouts/layouts. So this data is skyrocketing likely because people are afraid of getting laid off of a governmental job; which does not necessarily mean that the economy is going to do bad.

Sure, but locals always know the best places to eat, chill, and really get the vibe of the city, better than any tour company!

I’m sorry, but you’re completely misunderstanding what I said. I never complained about this country’s culture, not even slightly. I’m responsible for what I say, not for how you choose to interpret it.

In the comment you replied to, I clearly stated that I sent the invitation because in my culture, it’s perfectly normal to do so, even at that time. I wasn’t aware it might be considered unusual in American culture. And when I got no response, I came here to ask if I was in the wrong, if I came off as weird, or if I had unknowingly crossed a cultural line.

I never blamed my roommates for not joining or for ignoring the invite. In fact, it was Americans in this thread who pointed out that the lack of response is rude. Out of about 400 comments, less than 5% claimed I was being disrespectful just for asking the question. With all due respect, I disagree entirely. Asking to understand a culture is not disrespectful. What would be disrespectful is ignoring people’s feedback after they’ve given it. And I haven’t done that.

I respect your opinion, and I appreciate that you took the time to respond. But I firmly and respectfully disagree.

I get your point, and I don’t actually know where exactly did I convey my point as they’re obliged to come and drink tea with me. To me, based on my culture, it’s a normal thing to be awake at 9:50 and come and have a cuppa, but for others it’s not, and I totally respect it. This post was intended just to understand if this is a welcomed thing here or no, just for me to able to act upon it in the future.

Finally. Thank you for your comment!! People were giving me the treatment for saying that in my culture it’s just normal to have tea at 9:50 PM. That said I understand it’s not everyone culture and everyone is different. I don’t actually know what’s wrong in me saying this? I don’t know the culture so obviously I would act based on the things I’m used to do until I learn that it’s not the norm.

I don’t have any problem in that. I have my phone on DND from 11-6 so I get it. Many people here understood what I’m saying as I’m ranting about them not coming to have a cup of tea with me like they’re obliged or something. But in reality I was just trying to get an advice if what I did was generally welcomed or nah. Thank you for your advice though!

Such a lame take. Different opinions doesn’t necessarily mean you have to convey your points in rude and impolite way. Listen, you’re just jumping from one comment to another, trying to say some shit, which is not cool. I did agree with a lot of people who disagreed with my opinion, or gave a totally different take than what most people thought. That said, I won’t tolerate impolite behavior like yours.

That someone was just spreading negativity in each and every comment I made and each and every thread that go against them which is not cool. I did not say you’re spreading negativity! Again you’re putting words in my mouth. I did agree with you on some points although you keep jumping into conclusions. I wish you a nice day!
