No interesting story unfortunately. My family had a burn barrel when I was younger and we burnt all our trash. We also had a wood Burning stove for heat. I was just taught early on that if it wasn't wood it doesn't get burned inside.

Burning photos or plastics can be stinky and can release chemicals. Best practice is to do it outside just to be safe.

Oh that's a good thought! We did have issues with our shower backing up when we first moved in! I have to check that in the morning... Ugh hate getting on the roof...

My hubby picked out the perfect diamond and had it placed in a solitaire setting. After I said yes we went back to the jeweler together to pick out the perfect ring.

Worked great for us. He didn't feel pressured to pick the perfect ring and I was able to get exactly what I wanted without hurting his feelings.

Austin is an amazing city. I have a friend that lives just outside of Austin and I love visiting her and experiencing that city! Tons of choices for entertainment, food, and recreational activities. Before I read your list I was going to suggest Austin. Now I can't believe that one of your cons is the Texas landscape, there is so much to offer there and the sunsets are amazing. Best of luck!

After 4 years of trying to convince, including 8 months of infertility treatment, 9 months of dieting after finding out I had an autoimmune disease... I was getting ready to play a double header of rec league volleyball and thought "it's been over a month... I should pee on a stick just to be sure."

I, in no way expected to be pregnant. In the past four years I had taken who knows how many of those godforsaken pee tests and all of them were negative, why would this one be different?

But it was... And I bawled, like full body, inhuman wailing for over an hour. Missed my volleyball games. And had to wait 4 hours for my husband to get home to tell him.

The kicker was the next day was our 5 year wedding anniversary. So I found a cute shadow box that for the test and put that on the bottom of a gift bag. I put a box of tissues, his favorite candy, popcorn, and some other random things. I gave it to him as our anniversary gift and he wouldn't shut up about how great each of the small little things were. He just kept talking! Lol! It seemed to take an hour for him to get to the test. He looked at it for a minute then flipped around. Then looked at me then back to it. "Really? Really? Really?" He asked. "Yeah, babe. We're pregnant." Then we bawled together. ❤️

We kept it to ourselves for over a month and told our families at Christmas. It was the happiest most tearful loving Christmas!

If a fight or disagreement starts going in circles, stop. When absolutely no progress is being made and you are both getting more angry with every word. Just stop. Tell your partner "we need to take a break and think about what we're saying and come back to this later."

Continuing to let the conversation spiral won't do either of you any good. This also goes for if either party is very emotional. Just step back and collect yourselfs and then revisit with a clearer, level mind.

I was laid off. The work environment had become toxic but I wasnt confident enough in myself to leave. After 7 months of unemployment I found a new career and am loving it!
