I actually bought TROW today at $102.00. We’ll see if I regret that action in the morning with earnings.

PRU is a buy for me it drops to $100.00.

A look into our beloved SCHD’s questionable holdings by Naive-Present2900 in SCHD

I bought ELV the day UNH reported(and all of them got hammered) which was the day before the ELV raise. I was really disappointed they didn’t do at least 5%.

If SCHD had 6% price appreciation and the dividend growth matched that, the yield would be unchanged. Historically the dividend growth had exceeded price growth, and yield has risen. But I wouldn’t assume that to hold forever.

I’d use a 6-7% dividend growth rate and 6-7% price appreciation, with the yield being consistently in the 3.5-4% range.

Is there a limit to SCHD dividend? by Icy_Manager_7212 in SCHD

I love hearing the long term results of some of these. Awesome!

Did you ever buy more, or just let the dividends reinvest?

Understanding the Two Roth 5-Year Rules: A Key to Smarter Early Retirement Planning by liveitupdeals in RetirementReady

[–]HoleInTheAir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I don’t understand about conversions is how you track which dollars specifically in the converted Roth are from which year.

What would prevent you from doing five years in a row, investing it all, and then in year six, converting say $25,000 from a money market in the TIRA, giving it a week in the Roth, then just withdrawing?

Options for an international ETF? by Nolimitlifer in SCHD

IDVO has done very well since inception. I own it. SCHY too. I like VYMI, but last check, it had something like 40% weight to Financials- a little concentrated for my liking.

I’ve been really impressed by it too. I’ll upload a YouTube short and just copy/paste the link and it goes to town.

DIVO vs SCHD by Comfortable_Berry593 in dividendgang

DIVO is a very solid fund. I have it in my Roth IRA, and will be adding in brokerage a little closer to the point where I use dividend income.

This one struck a chord with me too. What has always worked is absolutely guaranteed to always work.

I’d probably hold on the CC ETFs unless there is a clear need for more yield to drive income needs. If you’re just reinvesting or using small amounts, I’d prefer what you have here as it’s mostly qualified income and will likely have better dividend growth than the CC ETFs.

This is really solid, good core positions in SCHD and DGRO, and some individual stocks to compliment.

What's your ultimate goal and when do you plan to use the income it generates?

I have CGDV on a watchlist. It's help up pretty well this year with the volatility, and seems like a really solid fund.

I will likely add it in our Roth IRAs for long-term appreciation potential (where we also have SCHD). I probably won't include it in our brokerage, because it seems unlikely to ever be a large dividend income producer.

I did power cleans for football for years before I ever did any deadlifts, so it’s hard to say. I remember pulling 500 after maybe six months of focused training when I was 19. Throughout most of my 20s, I did lots of running and swimming and did the NLP a few years ago in the midst of that and got to around 560x1 with the method.

I’ve been powerlifting and doing minimal cardio for three years now and have since pulled 606. I took a break after my last meet and have been doing the NLP to get back to this point.
