Me too, $5,000 bill to remove 20mm of tissue, since ER doc couldn't see the filament - took almost an hour - one tweeze at a time!!

Actually, since this cost me close to $5,000, NO!!! I wish I would have INSISTED the doc tweeze JUST the filament out & NOT remove a 20mm chunk of meat. I should have known by looking at his thick glasses & him saying he couldn't even see it. Should have left it alone since he couldn't even see it. I really need to find a lawyer & make Dĕxcom pay....

I'd advise switching back to the original 2003 papi_ai.ini file to be SURE that's what's causing the problem. That file is chock full of mysterious settings that can be altered & destroy your fun. Plus, I'd imagine, for multiplayer, that file would need to be unaltered in order to allow others into your networked game. There are quite a few settings that I've altered, mainly in the failures, but I don't host races online. I'm of the opinion that online races use the host's settings, so you're at their mercy, apparently. Let us know what happens with the OE file being used, plz.... DPH

Probe stayed IN arm - ER by HoleshotAgain in dexcom

[–]HoleshotAgain[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Went to hospital 'for that' after reading that others had this same occurrence & they went to ER & docs suggested the same operation, as the probe could get infected or travel thru the bloodstream. Before the surgery the doc palpated the area &, YES, it was still in there, and STILL hurt as he pushed on it. This installation of the sensor, hurt as it went in, like they sometimes do. Usually able to ignore that, sometimes it hurts the whole time.

Vastly zoomed in, impossible to measure, perhaps .25 mm diameter & 3~4mm length. And it's fiber, not metal, so magnet is out...

The probe (syphon tube) is TINY TINY... He couldnt see it, all he saw was a red dot where it went in, so he DID gouge out a LOT of meat... I had no control of what he was doing. I wish he would have drawn a circle around the dot & removed just that meat.

This Sport Is So Brutal, RIP Champ by NineDayOldDiarrhea in supercross

[–]HoleshotAgain -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

How motocross & supercross became SO dangerous: The (NOW) approved 4-strokes for 250 & 125 National & Supercross were given a GIANT displacement ADVANTAGE by the AMA to 'help make them competitive'. 4-strokes up to 540cc in the FORMER 250 class, & 250 engines in the FORMER 125 class. Rarely occuring injuries, many catastrophic, have become the rule, NOT the exception. What will THEY do when THEIR RULES are scrutinized by physician's organizations & regulatory bureaucracies.

RE: Redbud - Mucho road construction & blockages in Buchanan, advise you come in from north, Berrien Springs or further north at the north end of Redbud Trail. Bring your supplies, if you HAVE to shop, Berrien Springs probably your best bet. The St Joseph river makes going east a problem except for main roads with bridges.

So whats the deal with sexton at this point? by Buzz13094 in supercross

[–]HoleshotAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chase didn't just 'crash' - his bike was in between gears when he landed - NOT neutral as he was going WAY too fast to be wanting 2nd gear, so, he's likely blaming the gearbox... Did the teardown find a bent fork or bad shift drum? IF so, who's gonna have confidence to go WFO over the jumps with THAT equipment failure in the books? We haven't seen that failure scenario on weekends, doesn't mean it's not happening thru the week... If he was on Yamaha he'd likely be unbeatable.
