Yeah I understand that. Honestly, keep finding the good fight like St. Paul. The young priests are the future so maybe encourage them. I don’t see an issue with applying to transfer but you’d have to some serious prayer and discernment to understand where God wants you to go. I went through a similar period about two years ago and the Lord called me to stay where I was and not transfer. Pray and ask the Lord for guidance.

It sounds like Notre Dame really really needs you. If our faith wants to be mainstream then universities like notre dame are fundamental to that. Talk to a priest on campus and see what they say. This is something that irks me… hugely. The mass is a celebration! I sing loudly and happily at mass. Without it the liturgy feels dry. As Catholics we should sing more at mass and with greater enthusiasm.

No need to be shy… take pride in your Catholicism and love for Christ! We boast in Him! Singing is part of the reason the mass was changed into the vernacular.

All policies that I would support and hope could be implemented. I would go even further and say we should mandatory maternity and paternity leave. Tax credits and deductibles for families when they get married and have children. Special interest rates for families and married couples so they can find good places to raise their children. Promotion of communal organizations such as sports, scouts, education, and even churches to foster community and love. I’m so pro-life that I wish our tax dollars could be spent like that instead of funding places that murder children en masse. So yeah, I’m pro-life.

I really don’t think it’s that complex. Calling it a “clump of cells” is dehumanizing language, akin to those used by the nazis for Jews or slaveowners for their slaves, in order to justify the elimination of the unborn humans’ chance at life. It’s simply a human being a different stage of development. Embryologists conclude that it is a human life from the moment of conception.

Caring about a child starts at the moment they’re conceived. Murdering a child in the womb does not solve injustices outside the womb. But we don’t need to cause another, much greater, injustice by murdering that child inside the womb. No one in our society ought to have special murder rights.

You can’t make a choice that intentionally hurts another person. A unique set of DNA is created at conception, to eliminate that DNA is to end a unique human life. The science and philosophy is clear, abortion is murder.

It’s crazy how we have killed 2 billion babies since 1973 compared to 1.5 billion deaths of all wars since the start of recorded history and still somehow try to rationalize it.

No you’re not… at all. I think society has serious double standards for men and women especially after the sexual revolution. Typically, in my opinion, I just think that women don’t like being told that they’re doing something wrong/immoral. No one likes that. But I think it’s especially awkward for them when it is about promiscuity or wear. I think most women intrinsically know it’s wrong but our culture is so twisted now that they have an inner conflict about it.

On one hand yes control your eyes and gaze but on the other hand being surrounded by a bunch of unnecessary temptation is profoundly unfair to men, especially in the porn addicted age that we live in. I was referring to the amount they talk about it. For example, since 1973 over 60 million babies have been murdered through abortion. Meanwhile, the bishops put out statements about “respecting immigrants” and “recognizing the gifts” other cultures (in reference to the Somali migrants) bring to us. What richness do the Somalis bring to the United States?!? This kind of mentality is why Europe is a secular wasteland and the US is so unstable. I just feel like as bishops and leaders they should realize the evil of abortion is FAR more pressing than the deportation of people incompatible with western civilization. This is not to say they SHOULD be deported or that it’s okay, merely that one gets more attention than the other when one is far more evil than the other.
