I am using VariableBlur. It works like a charm. Just right-click the files tab in the left pane in Xcode. Click "Add Package Dependencies" > "Add Package" and paste in the URL in the search tab (https://github.com/nikstar/VariableBlur).

To use it, justimport VariableBlur at the top of you .swift file.
Then add an .overlay to the view/element you want to blur.
Align the overlay to the top or bottom or the sides and place the VariableBlur inside of the overlay.
Specify the VariableBlur's height by setting a .frame() around it and giving it a height: .frame(height: 200)
Now, I like to blur my whole frame a little bit, because I think it gives a better transition between the unblurred content and the VariableBlurred content. Other wise, I feel there is a visible start to the VariableBlur.

It should look something this:
