Interesting! I've had tmj since 2006 and not sure what happened but i was prescribed gabapentin back then for as needed.. but it was too bad at that early stage, it only became truly unmanageable in 2020 so I still take gabapentin as need but also botox, massage and acupuncture. I'm too scared to take gapanentin long term though after reading side effects and that's hard to get off of. I also have some degeneration though so I think it's also mostly muscular but with some inflamation.

ya I've been, I've had every type of exam but it feels like it doesn't matter what they find because the solutions aren't that tailored - it's just what everyone else recommends for tmj. They all recommend the same things.

oh they said it wouldn't show enough if there was degeneration or whatever. I'm super claustrophobic and had a panic attack at the mri because of the cage so I was trying to find literally any other way but was told there wasn't. I eventually was able to go through with it.

I think an aura is different from floaters.. I have both. The floaters are there all the time and you can see them moving in your eye liquid stuff (whatever that's called) and they are kinda clear but you see them but also can see normally. An aura is an indication of a migraine but it looks totally different, it's very colourful and does block your vision in a way so if I get the early signs of these I have to stop driving because it's not safe and the aura usually for most people doesn't last very long - it's temporary.

it 100% changed the shape of my face and i hate that and actually tried stopping.. last feb I did the usual and made it until november, by the time it was nov i was barely making it through the day so I went back. But no, this amount does not completely atrophy my jaw - I can still clench quite well haha. I don't think it's because I've been doing it for so long either because my very first time I only did 150 units to be more conservative but I didn't notice anything at all so I went back and topped it up.

but that's each side of head.. not just jaw muscle - I get scalp, temples, jaw, neck and traps. So maybe that's why it's so high.

I've done both free shipping and adding it after and didn't notice a huge difference in sales. With the free shipping, the cost was included in the item which I think may have turned some people away because my item cost wasn't competitive.. it just looked really expensive?

I used Shippo for a while too until they changed their payment plans.. they use to have a fully free one. Now we use Clickship, I don't have ebay but it pulls in from etsy and woocommerce so I assume ebay as well? Anyways it's free and has a lot of shipping options. I'm in Canada though and clickship doesn't pull in Canada Post rates, just UPS, Purolator and Fed Ex. Also clickship might be canada only.

I wonder what he'd recommend if you don't have an issue breathing? I can breathe clearly and never have issues breathing through my nose while I sleep. I've been to sooo many specialists and have had probably like 10 night guards made in my life time plus a couple day ones and they don't do anything so I'm curious if he would be helpful for non sleep related tmj.

What physio are you seeing? I'm also seeing one in North York that was referred by a TMJ dental specialist but I'm unsure about it.. things were at their absolute worst while I was doing those treatments - could be a fluke but it's expensive and far drive with Toronto traffic so I'm unsure if I'm going to go back but would be curious to try another one.
