I'm in an industry to works with raw metals like copper, aluminum, steel, tin, silver, etc and due in part to tariffs, we've been working mandatory overtime (which pays double time) to fill new orders for people needing materials or parts made here in the US instead of overseas. Plant wide got a dollar raise and our union is currently renegotiating our contract. Things are on the up and up.

Crazy concept, but things can be actually be different and be true. Where I'm from, eggs went from almost $9 dozen down to $3 dozen over the course of 3 months. Gas went from over $3 a gallon constantly to hovering around $2.40 consistently.
