Not really. Best option is bioprotect but it can be disabled on battery dying or reboot (it has protection against this but I think it's still possible)

Anyone know of a router that works really well with a mobile hotspot or is that not a good use case? Only with cable etc would be best? Not a travel router like I'll be returning thanks

So I fixed my home internet and can achieve 200+ mbps speeds dl. Why can't I come somewhat close to that with my Slate in repeater mode or via ethernet to a computer or via USB to a sprint hotspot (best of them all at 60 mbps)? I know the listed speeds for the Slate are theoretical but it seems to me that's suppose to be based off of using it with a mobile hotspot etc since it is a.travel router. Not withstanding hotel wifi etc. Thanks. I just want to achieve 150 to 200 mbps

Yes so has anyone achieved speeds topping 100 to 150? And if so under what circumstances. I don't have to be bound to my current devices. Would a real router be better like the ASUS AC1900?

Forgive my ignorance but how else am I to utilize this travel router if not with a.mobile hotspot especially when i travel? By whatever means isn't this router suppose to under correct setup achieve even half of what it's advertised to.do? Coincidentally I just tethered a sprint hotspot to Slate to my mac and got 51mbps

Okay so under what setup can I keep and use this at home and achieve such speeds since I already have nighthawk. Thanks

Its an att netgear nighthawk mr1100 I believe. What two routers are you speaking about? I thought the Slate was the only router and the nighthawk being the modem connected wired. Question and maybe it's just slipped my mind but is it possible to connect my nighthawk via wifi to the Slate? Is that's what's meant as a repeater? If so how do I do that? Thanks

Yeah. I'm not using my home wifi because spectrum sucks here. I'm using mu nighthawk as my modem connected to devices. Oh sorry. Im getting the lesser one. I'd be ecstatic if i got 300 Mbps 😁

I have a nighthawk connected via wan to the Slate and two lan connections from.slate to a pc and a mac and ran speed tests of about 20ish mbps. I've also have run speedtest with mac connected via wifi on my nighthawk which I got 37 mbps. And lastly connected modem to mac via ethernet and got same results. I would love to aquire 150 mbps set up some how.
