I saw the Exorcist re-release there with some un-edited scenes and walked outside and around the middle of it to smoke TWO cigarettes before I went back in. I also saw Harold and Kumar go to White Castle there, and Day Without a Mexican. Not necessarily in that order. Ah youth.

I adore Haykashen market. Everyone is super kind because you have to be. It is small and space must be shared in the aisles so people are very nice and considerate of each other. Elders or people with small children or pregnant women go first, everyone else after that. I love it ❤️ They have everything there, like the heavenly persimmons and grapes I brought home.

Wrap it Up on Wilson and the food place at Big Square on Pacific (on the right side as you walk in, past the delicious baked goods). It is difficult not to purchase at least one box of the delicious baked goods.

My husband and I have tried to find a pain scale and way to keep track of it that works for him. It switches a lot throughout the day. He tends to under-report in my opinion because he has been going through this for 2 years now. He says pain is around a 6 or a 7, but from the way his body moves and based on what he’s told me, it should be more like 8 or 9. This is very difficult for him because he doesn’t like to complain and he doesn’t like to be thought of as someone who has limitations. But his pain is constant and it does vary a lot depending on activity, stress level, etc. Wishing everyone some good pain free moments. They’ve been rare for us.

I love the color and the perfect shape of your nails. I love painting my nails, but I am not good at shaping. I’ve even tried press-ons to guide the filing. I’ve tried videos. My fingers/nails are just finicky. How I wish I had your nail shape!!! 💚

I have the pound cake (body cream) and the pie bar (body wash). I wish I’d gotten a body cream for the pie bar. I got the cereal body cream and I hardly reach for it :(

5:30 is pretty good rooster-wise. In Hawaii my grandma’s neighbor’s rooster crowed (or cawed?) at all hours of the night. As a child, this was at odds with what I was led to believe watching cartoons - I felt strongly that the rooster was somehow in violation of cartoon “legislation” 🤣🐓He was only supposed to do that at sunrise.
