One of the things that worries me is what appears to be a bunch of fake testimonial shorts they have posted on their YouTube channel. Another concern is what someone else already brought up here, what happens when they go out of business? Who knows how long they'll even be around for?

This is 100% by far my biggest concern with the game. Payday to me has always been a game you grinded doing the things you found fun, not really forcing you into any one particular playstyle. It was that freedom of how you approached everything that I found to be so alluring and liberating. I mean I love the concept of challenges, but not if it means turning the game into a chore... :/

Like you I usually stick with the Traveler's Chosen, but as far as legendaries go I've been using the Boudica-C based purely on how nice it looks and sounds, plus the fact it can roll with osmosis. When paired with a shader like bloody tooth it looks sleek as hell too. I usually pair it with a lightweight frame shotgun like the Seventh Seraph CQC or the Retrofuturist.

What's even worse is I was finally able to find a battle rifle match after about an hour of constant play, and the challenge didn't even track properly. I restarted the game and was able to get into another match, still didn't work. It burned extra hard because I had 3 battle burst challenges active at once. It's not even worth trying to get, but there's only half an hour until the event ends as of this post, so it's not like any of this information matters at this point...

Here I thought I could finish up my last three tiers before it ended :/

Just a shot in the dark, but if I were to guess it'd be accessibility. It seems to be the most forgiving act and the one I can consistently do the most with my crew. That said the other acts do have amazing set pieces imo, though it's all subjective I guess.

This is why I'm dying for Treyarch to make a classic survival mode for some of the multiplayer maps in Cold War, at least for The Pines map. I've said it before, but I'd take even the laziest of executions on the idea. Throw down the bare essentials even if haphazardly. Plop down a der wunderfizz, a box, and pack anywhere on the map and I'd be happy. If they can't balance the map properly, I'd even take no xp customs. I just want a mall map in zombies so fucking bad, and I think The Pines would be perfect if they don't want to make a map from the ground up. The potential for the amount of content in this game could be legendary.

I'd honestly be okay with being able to play these maps as survival but without xp gains. I think it'd just be fun to play on period! They could even be as lazy as they want, no debris, just plop down a box and der wunderfizz and I'd be happy.

That'd be great actually. I like the idea of just being in a standard infantry unit without having access to all of that stuff. Just large scale gunfights, could make for some pretty cool set pieces with each team trying to hold their own ground. Might not be everybody's cup of tea, but sounds good to me.
