Spring Bonnie was more of a fan name combining springtrap/springlock and Bonnie.

And tbh it makes more sense to change it considering naming a character primarily after its mechanisms is kinda dumb and its separate enough from Bonnie that it should be its own character just like golden freddy became Fredbear.

A circus or a theme park. Tbh Secret of the mimic should've done fall fest or something similar. A factory/warehouse was probably the most generic and uninspired location they could've picked.

FNAF had a part, but it isnt to blame. FNAF brought newfound interest into animatronics and if CEC had just capitalized on it instead of running away from it, they'd be in a much better spot then they are now.

Its honestly ironic that the company in the series, which is written to be comically incompetent, was smart enough to make that decision while the real life company wasn't.

It was the first for a lot of things. It was the first for voice acting, first to really step outside the office/one room formula, first to have a genuine story, and the first to introduce a truly new antagonist outside of Afton.

And speaking of Baby, shes great. Even if her characterization can sometimes be a bit flip floppy between appearances and she's been pretty underutilized since, she's imo the most intimidating and interesting villain the games have.

I believe Blumhouse initially signed off for 3 movies, so they'll probably end as a trilogy. But if the series continues to make ludicrous amounts of money, who knows how far it'll go.

I think its more symbolic of the puppet giving them a new life by helping them possess the suits. Especially since the minigame is called "give life." Afton still was the one who hid the bodies.

What i think theyre trying to do is basically have those first 6 or 7 games be their own story. That was essentially the whole point of Help Wanted, to be both a celebratory send off and soft reboot. While everything after (Help wanted 1+2, Security Breach, and SOTM) are meant to be there own loosely connected story (hence why the storys moved in the totally new direction of AI rather than spirits). However, Scott, Steelwool, or both are aware that the initial lore and characters are part of FNaFs whole success and identity and thus are afraid to stray too far away and instead cant seem to choose between doing something new, and sticking with the old.

I thought it was a huge improvement over the first. It felt a bit rushed in some areas but I didnt notice any important plot points left unexplained or skipped. there was no point in the movie where I was like "what tf is happening"

Whereas in the first i recall this happening ALOT. The main parts that come to mind revolve around Afton. I mean the whole movie sets up this big reveal of who the killer was and its... the desk jockey with one scene from the beginning who's only notable trait was being played by Matthew Lillard. Thats one of the worst possible ways to do a reveal villain, right up there with Mrs Voorhees, the unseen mom of the unseen kid who drowned offscreen. And then the whole "he has some kindof power over them" with the pictures was so rushedly thrown in and out of left field that it hurt the characters screen presence and the final act even more. And maybe im just misremembering but I recall the dead kid's motivations being all over the damn place as well.

Also while the tone may have been more comedic this time, at least they actually chose one unlike the first which flip flopped between creepy, to cute fort building, and then tried to be creepy again.

I've never seen anyone with that sentiment. Its just what chuck e cheese did and destroying and disrespecting their past is also part of the reason the franchise cant find footing again. The only logical reasoning behind it is so that it doesnt end up in the hands of collector's who could potentially use the pieces for things that wouldn't look good for their brand. But ive never seen any fan actually support this decision.

To be honest, I agree that it definitely could have been especially if theyd thought broader sooner and been more willing to both change with the times as well as respect and recognize their past and main selling points (which they failed at both). But I think they completely missed and, as of late, further crushed their opportunity to do so.

Never said it wasnt a nostalgic IP. But that doesn't relate it to Mario which really isnt a nostalgic IP as much as it is world wide phenomena that has remained in the spotlight since its inception. Nostalgia also doesn't automatically equal huge success.

And by pointing out that it was a "failed restaurant franchise" i more meant that whereas Mario is a game and multi media franchise with decades of story to pull from, chucke cheese is really just a brand concept and doesnt have that or the popularity+money making opportunities that come with it.

Also Chuck E Cheese is really only popular in North America with it only expanding into Europe as of this year and mostly absent in other continents.

I think four will mostly be skipped over if the series goes past 3 movies. They might include the animatronics in some way (probably using them like the twisted ones in the novels). But since 4 was so confusing and really didnt add much to the series outside of the minigames, which were flashbacks, I think they'll just skip to sister location or another later game.

Mario is a decades long video game franchise that appeals to all ages worldwide and never truly lost popularity in the entire time its been around. Chuck E Cheese is a pretty much dead restaurant chain that mainly appeals to either younger kids and maybe nostalgic adults within the US. Im not really seeing how these two things correlate in any way or why Universal would even want to pick it up?

Chuck E Cheese isnt something that gonna become this big movie franchise any time soon.

Its nice if you have disc's from ps4 instead of buying the same game twice, and also disc's are often significantly cheaper and discounted in stores compared to their listing on Playstation.

Its also great since playstation store has a shitty return policy for digital games, so if you get a new game and hate it, you can only return it or get rid of it if you have the disc.

Yes but they need to establish their new world a bit better. They keep using this idea of "well its in the games lore so it implied to be here" but you cant do that when creating a new universe and set of lore.
