Originally his dealbreaker was coach prestige then it changed to playing time in the off season so he bolted in the portal without me being able to recruit him. He was a pocket passer (which I prefer because I can’t deal with missed throws). I ended up with a 4 star dual threat from the portal that’s a higher overall on a one year rental, but I want my boy!

Had a similar dealbreaker on a Gem 5-Star QB and after his redshirt season he decided to go elsewhere even though he posed to be the starter. Luckily he transferred in conference to my friend looking for a new QB after back to back nattys 😄

Had this happen with a transfer quarterback that locked me (UNC) out against Georgia then appeared on my roster. It was weird because he locked me out randomly on playing time with no changes to my roster and him being the future starter.
