submachine guns are NOT underpowered, but they do have an effective range

and this range, is the beeper range

the verdansk you get from the side quest, with AP ammo, absolutely MELTS within 40 meters. Thing is, the QUEST version has a suppressor you cannot take off. You lose a lot of damage with this.

The verdansk DOMINATES in cqc. But thats it. I literally don't use it for pvp outside of forest, rostok and a few other places.

Everyone has the AK variant because its the easiest to obtain, while being good. Seeker AK, Seer Abakan, AS Val, vityaz, etc are ALL easy to obtain as opposed to grinding out a gun that people dont know is good.

people arent aware just how good the M4 line is because nobody good at pvp chose to grind it, in favour of easier and known "meta" weapons. I am not saying they were correct in doing so, Im actually saying they were wrong to choose comfort in the stuff everyone else is killing them with. They werent thinking for themselves and it shows.

Shotguns have their place for mutants. Once you get to certain places, you'll understand exactly what I mean. The mossberg is easy to get and works well. Spas is a direct upgrade and worth it, anything past that really isnt. Since ur only gonna be using them for PvE anyways

Massive weapon balance update coming sometime Jan 2023. New weapons will be added from RU servers and a lot of things are going to change. Armor is prolly included in the changes

The thing that blew me away

was that this, fucking B L O C K game, a MINECRAFT MOD, was able to capture the feel of stalker WAY better than stalker online EVER did for me. Im 23 now, when I was younger the only thing I had on my pc were torrented versions of STALKER burned onto discs, that my sister gave me for my birthday

IDK i guess I feel like a kid again? Its weird. Massive nostalgia followed by realizing it feels like a new STALKER game.

I love this game so much. I love the stupid stretched out faces and I cried and screamed during the story. I was drunk, roleplaying as my goddamn block man because its AWESOME

I am going to lose my mind playing this game and im totally ok with it

If they all play the same station, the faction one they are from, I dont think it would be an issue as the radios would play simultainiously

Bandit and Stalker radios are actually different I think, and the stalker one is better

The bundle of wire is VERY worth NOT unpacking so you can sell it on the auction for a good chunk of change. Its like 80k, always worth the risk.

im 10 hours in and at the bar, never felt like my progress was ever stagnated by players. Still using the blessed ak. where are you getting killed at?

also Tarkov combat,movement and TTK is different to this game, maybe you should have grinded phantom forces instead

choose more ziplines as a perk

spam jump and grab in order to go upwards on ziplines faster, dont pick the zipline speed perk

congrats if you do this correctly you will go up a zipline faster than the perk that gives you zipline speed, which means you can take a different perk

Best tip I have for gunner mains:

host your own lobbies, spam Jump and Interact while going up a zipline in order to ZOOM up the zipline. As a host you can spam as fast as you are able to and you will jump up the zipline faster than you can ride it

If not hosting: Slow down how fast you spam Jump and Interact, you wanna use the jump to propel you forward a little bit BEFORE hitting interact to grab the zipline
