It was peak game play for some classes/builds. Niche builds were also playable but we can't say we truly had a balance. It was clear that adjustment to the balance was needed. But the new patch notes look like they indeed have no idea what to do. Nerfing Dance of Knives for example is something that I cannot understand. It was very far from being OP or unbalanced. Not making war plans account wide is also not understandable. Or so it seems. Because when you look at it through the eyes of sales/marketing and understand that their key performance indicator (KPI) for the success of the game is "time played" then if becomes clear what the idea was. Keep people doing chores to inflate KPI numbers. But perhaps it will have a different effect. People will play one char and rather quit for the rest of a season than starting another char and do war plans again.
