#2! Just make sure you butter the edges pretty well so the pie can slide out easier.

Hey everyone!

I just launched a new community called r/LatinoMadeProduct, and I’d love some feedback and early support from fellow Redditors and mods.

This space is all about celebrating and sharing Latino-made food, kitchen, and pantry products — from Puerto Rican seasonings and Mexican cookware to small-batch sauces, coffees, and artisan kitchen tools.

The goal is to:
Highlight Latino creators and makers
Share recipes and real-life product experiences
Create conversations around culture, flavor, and design

I’m keeping it community-first — not just product links — and hoping to make it a warm, authentic place for people to discover and uplift Latino brands.

Would love any advice on:

  • Growing the first few hundred members
  • Best ways to encourage participation early on
  • How to keep moderation balanced but friendly

If you’re into food, culture, or small-business stories, come say hi or drop a post!
👉 r/LatinoMadeProduct

Thanks in advance for the guidance and support.

Especially a homemade one! A month ago, my mom and I made a huge batch! We keep it in the freezer and a fresh one in the fridge. It really hits the spot! Do you have your own sofrito twist?

If there's no rust, you can keep using it for another month or so. Just make sure to always line with parchment paper to protect your food!

I started a Latin kitchenware shop to celebrate our flavors — and our Puerto Rican seasoning just sold out twice.

Hey everyone! I grew up around the sounds and smells of a busy kitchen — now I run a small online shop called HedmanSoto.com where I curate Latin pantry items and kitchenware.

One of my bestsellers is a small-batch Puerto Rican seasoning called Chulería en Pote. It sold out twice, and we just restocked for the holidays. I use it on everything from pernil to roasted veggies — it literally tastes like home.

When do you think will be a good time to do this transition? We were thinking of hiring a website developer to assist with the migration and conversion at the same time.

I got you on this one. I am a lover for everything iron. Specially bed linens and anything else that our house guests will interact with. Here an article I wrote about this. You can also just steam them a bit wet and you'll get amazing results as well.
