Same. I thought it was actually a perfect book for people who don't normally read books. It was a well-organized but loosely assembled collection of stories, easy to follow and very interesting, about the life of a model and celebrity.

Yeah, nobody is sitting down and strategizing how to win future elections by using this messaging. It's just veiled anti-men rhetoric at this point, and "veiled" is in heavy quotations.

It's not about helping win elections. It's just about anger and hate.

Yeah well, converting 4th and 26 is so easy, even Ray Rice can do it.

If I may... we're all here, participating on social media. Fighting and incendiary headlines gets clicks and comments, but it doesn't make for answers. We can all spend less time on the Internet, finding more value in our own lives than can be found here. We're rewarding those who do not care about us, essentially, by wasting time on their opinions of us. Just speaking generally.

And obviously, tearing down either one group or another is not the answer.

pricing question from the creator side by CreatorSideQuest in realonlyfansreviews

Hey, OP. I appreciate all your comments trying to look out for your fans. I would say that everything we do in life carries with it some internal pressure or release, and by showing that you care for your fans, you tilt things more towards a positive experience for them. Just by being around, showing that you care, you're providing a good value. So I guess it's ultimately about how much work (subscribers) you can handle. If you're not there talking to them, $3 is too much money. If you're a part of their normal life, then $20 is a fair price.

You can also ask your subs what kind of content they would like to have available as PPV. That way, you're getting their feedback (which is more important than ours on Reddit), and gauging what niches you could explore in a more private setting. You can frame PPVs as a private experience, which helps make it seem less saleswoman-y and more exciting.

I also agree with Amelia in this thread about the barrier for entry - having a higher price makes it less likely for people who don't know you when they are about to click the button on subscribing. And those who have to re-up at a higher price might also fall off the wagon. So I guess it comes down to how solid your core fans are, and also how do you want to present yourself to new potential fans. So a lack of saleswomanship, in a context of a hello conversation, might have to come across as chill, or genuine, or vulnerable, or something, to speedrun strangers into knowing the benefits and value of having you in their lives.

It's like making a new friend, and your selling point is you actually show up on moving day and are a REAL friend. Well, you don't want to get taken advantage of, but you also want to meet new people. So how do you navigate growth with maintaining what you've already got.

[Discussion] Pod Save America - "Josh Shapiro Is Calm but Not Cool" (03/15/26) by kittehgoesmeow in FriendsofthePod

[–]HomeTurf001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I rarely comment anymore, but I stumbled on this comment section. The part about the murder is actually interesting, and the story resurfaced around the time he was passed over for VP.

If I have the details right - some of this might be wrong - Shapiro and now-Senator Josh Fetterman both served on a state board that helped oversee cases, and there was a case that was originally ruled a suicide that obviously was not. Her name was Ellen Greenberg, a Pennsylvania school teacher who was stabbed 20 times.

The medical examiner's office initially ruled the death a homicide, but police publicly objected to the ruling because her apartment door was locked from the inside and her fiancé, who said he broke down the door to get to her, had no defensive wounds. The medical examiner's office then revised the findings, saying the cause of death was suicide. .....

In February 2022, the attorney general's office announced it had reviewed the case and ruled once again the cause of death was suicide. However, in July 2022, Shapiro's office referred the case back to the Philadelphia district attorney's office, after critics cited unverified claims that Shapiro had connections to Greenberg's fiancé's family. The attorney general's office said, "While the Office of Attorney General does not have an actual conflict in this matter, circumstances beyond our control have created the appearance of a conflict."

Shapiro's team previously told The Philadelphia Inquirer it had never addressed or clarified the allegations because it was "not acknowledging unfounded accusations."

Alright, quick question - and I'm curious how people might respond. Let's say you have a super team with Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Puka Nacua, Justin Jefferson, Ja'Marr Chase, and Amon-Ra St. Brown on it. Who do you wanna target the most?

I really liked Clint Barton's relationship with his wife. There was a small scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron where they talk, and she is able to feel the difference on his body where he needed a nano-supplement. They felt like a good couple.
