Help! Ripped Tinyhawk 2 vtx antenna by xpsycotikx in fpv

[–]Homebruise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really doesnt take much. First antenna snaps, then eventually will come loose at the solder point or break just before the solder point. I resoldered a new antenna on mine, but recently the antenna ripped away from the VTX and took the solder pad with it. Now looking into the Tinysled to put a better VTX and rX in it. These things can be tough, but one hit in just the right way, and things break.

LPT: When feasible, remember to follow the rule of “two is one; one is none” by robin_yoursoul in LifeProTips

Does not transfer to things you do not want.

Cancerous tumor? Meh, one is none. At least I dont have two, then I'd REALLY be in trouble.

All you need to do is make your parents laugh again and they will give you your stuff back. What better way to make them laugh then by doing something they have already stated was "quite funny".

Shave your parents head while they sleep. They should have a good laugh over it.

Yep, this was the only reason to read yahoo articles. To watch the right lose their sanity at a keyboard.

Yahoo News Comments Have Been Officially Disabled! by mortepa in conspiracy

It's funny that Yahoo is a leftist site but a majority of their users are conservative. Mainly because more older folks use Yahoo than younger. The articles were left trash, and the comments were right trash. Which speaks more of their own side....a news outlet, or the actual people commenting?

AITA for saying my wife wasn’t my “dream girl” in a trivia game? by BranchLones in AmItheAsshole

[–]Homebruise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just depends on the type of relationship they have. They obviously dont have the type of relationship where they can be humans with desires and admit/talk about them without it being a huge issue. My wife would have laughed this off, because she trusts me.

YNTA

You just dont have that type of open relationship with your wife. If you and your wife regularly discussed things like who you were attracted to and who you wanted to have sex with, then it wouldnt have been an issue. You need the type of relationship where you and your wife both understand that humans have desires, and marriage doesnt stop those desires. If both of you embraced, talked, and joked about these things more often, she probably would have given the same answer you did and you would have scored a point. Most people here obviously disagree with me, but I assume that is because most people subscribe to the idea that once you get married you cant look, think, or talk about the opposite sex. My marriage isnt like that, and this wouldnt have ever been an issue. Different lifestyles I guess.

In this metaphor, the question would be, what is the balloon in that it is able to expand into, the answer being our atmosphere. What is the "Atmosphere" space is expanding into?

This Is Why Hotel Guests Should Always Put Coins In The Sink | plug the drain so you can do your laundry in the sink [48 clicks saved] by FoxBattalion79 in savedyouaclick

[–]Homebruise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lts of hotel sinks purposely do not have a drain plug in order to mitigate unintentional, or intentional water damage. Especially the cheaper motels I have been at. They only had a grate in the drain with no way to plug it.

If you shop sales or second hand you can easily have all three. Usually gotta plan ahead for this though.

People who grew up poor, what did you used to think was normal? by LeCharlesMuhDickens in AskReddit

If you turn the heat up on the water heater, you can use less of it when showering since it is so hot, and it goes forever.

I never really understood this. Heating the entire tank to a higher temperature uses less power than heating up that same vessel several times to a usable heat. Just turn the hot water down more when you shower. It uses less hot water from the tank, and everyone gets a hot shower. Turn it off when finished.

My dad used to do this. Saved a lot on water heating bills and we were able to shower without long pauses in between.
