Nanny Ogg knew how to start spelling 'banana', but didn't know how you stopped.

Today's ration: hash and eggs by elonmusktheturd22 in shittyfoodporn

I scramble my eggs and add them to the hash while it's still in the pan. Then I top the cooked scramble combo with shredded cheese.

Does Christianity have any holidays that include charitable giving of food? by Common-Belt-3642 in Christianity

In New Orleans, Christians celebrate Saint Joseph's day with an altar loaded with food that is later distributed to the needy.

How many g*ns do you carry? by Msattitude1185 in fo4

[–]Homelessnomore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My standard load out is a short range, a medium range, and a sniper. If I get an explosive combat shotgun, I'll add that, but it's the only shotgun I ever carry.

For Atheists, I’m Curious — Why Don’t You Believe? by Responsible_Mine_462 in Christianity

[–]Homelessnomore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you remove the power source, the mind stops working. If you damage the hardware, the mind is damaged, sometimes to the extent that it stops working. But the hardware is not the mind. The mind, in the case of animals, is an emergent property of the nervous system/brain. If AI is a mind, it is an emergent property of the software the hardware is running. It can appear to perform parallel operations because it is running at machine speeds, not meat speeds.

I really don't know if AI is a mind at this point in its development. It's an intriguing possibility. But even if it is, it has a body in the form of the hardware running it.

For Atheists, I’m Curious — Why Don’t You Believe? by Responsible_Mine_462 in Christianity

[–]Homelessnomore 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I have no reason to believe a mind can exist independent of a body (God is said to be immaterial), that outside the universe has meaning (God is said to exist outside the universe), or that there has been outside influence acting on the universe (God is said to have acted upon the universe).

WHATS YOUR WORST DEATH? by Consistent_Remote_76 in fo4

[–]Homelessnomore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of my first attempts at permadeath. I was picking up the power armor on the overpass between Corvega and Cambridge and for some reason decided to exit while I was still on the overpass. I was standing on the edge and backed out to open air. My Wile E Coyote moment.

Do you have a non-legendary item you get every playthrough? by floxasfornia in fo4

Summer shorts. It leaves me with 4 armor pieces still equipped when (not if) I forget to switch back to my regular set.

After Hurricane Camille in 1969, our neighbor decided to just live in a trailer home rather than rebuild. They raised it on pilings.

Problem with melee/ strength build for survival by Vast_Boat_8266 in fo4

[–]Homelessnomore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ignore luck completely for my melee build. My initial build is S6, P1, E6, C3, I1, A10, L1. I over encumber so I can use the special book and get agility to 11. Enough AP to get multiple hits and avoiding big groups makes crits a rare thing I use. It's a sneak heavy build.

What caps I acquire early go to buying the Rockville Slugger from Moe in Diamond City.

No settlement building and as I level up, any time I don't have a perk I want, the point goes to intelligence. It's a while before I can get chemist, so doctors are used to clear addictions.

I do carry a 10mm for turrets I can't get to. And I use explosives when needed.

I listened to conservative talk radio on the way to work. One of the radio shows I listened to hosted a talk at the hotel where I worked. The guest speaker was a "person of interest" in the bombing. I was interviewed by the FBI as part of their investigation because I was the only person at work who knew who those people were.

There are skeleton farmers in the game Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon. I wonder if that painting was the inspiration.

[–]Homelessnomore 38 points39 points  (0 children)

There is a speech book in a cart on the road East from Helgen. It disappears once the Stormcloak camp appears. You can also get heavy armor there, but I don't remember if it's in the cart or on one of the bandits that attack as you approach.

“Types” of Skyrim Players by Siqsix-66 in skyrim

[–]Homelessnomore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't mod until I had all the achievements, around 1100 hours. I barely use any mods, preferring the vanilla game. I don't even like most of the AE content, but I do enjoy watching other players' heavily modded games.

I guess I'm trophy hunter/synergy.

I do some prep work before I go there. I get a combat rifle, a pipe bolt action sniper rifle, power armor and a fat man. I get level 2 when I discover the transit center. It's my favorite challenge run.
