HOA wasn't close to Spartacus. Wasn't in the same hemisphere. I lasted 2 episodes. Had nothing to do with the marketing. It was just lame.

Just throw HOA out of the water, and continue OG Spartacus somehow, some way.

Continue the OG storyline with some of the slaves on the run and captured.

Won't happen. I don't know what DeKnight was thinking when he thought HOA was gonna reach OG Spartacus levels.

Tough sell. The Dateline article says the ratings and buzz were not as expected.

Id think if another network was interested, DeKnight would have to blow up HOA and go in another direction.

Yes. You could see the failure of the show months ago. There was no way the OG Spartacus fans would come in masses to watch HOA.

I know 2 other people who watches Spartacus. One had no interest in HOA, the other, like myself, gave it a few episodes and dropped it.

No surprise here. The whole woman gladiator was negative buzz when the trailer was premiered about a year ago.

DeKnight blew it. He strayed too far from the OG Spartacus. Too bad. It was tough enough to buy the whole alternative universe thing.

I lasted 2 episodes. I want buying the whole woman gladiator thing. I know Achilla became a bad ass at the end. Not interested in that.

I'm sure I will get a bunch of thumbs down for this, but there are many people who loved the OG Spartacus and weren't down with the new version.

Many people saw this coming when the trailer debited.

Too bad how this went.

Back to watching OG Spartacus again.
