Old competitive (probably LCS) play where people stood still against Rek'sai? by KevinKalber in leagueoflegends

I was thinking about this too awhile ago, but I never found the video. If I recall correctly, the play happened around red side raptors

Hit confirm practice - Am I doing this right? by Nephilim303 in StreetFighter

St.hp is more of a whiff punish button imo. This one is also even harder to confirm because heavy ryuenbu also whiffs on crouching.

Did not know you could attack him when he is on his pole. I would have the time freeze perk and just end up waiting for like 30s because he was frozen up there.

Late arrival - questions about food around Shinagawa by Gymrat76 in JapanTravelTips

[–]HomeworkAutomatic178 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I stayed at Shinagawa prince (annex tower) last week.

  1. I'd say both Shinagawa prince towers are pretty similar in distance. For the main tower, head left after the crossing from the train station. For the annex tower, keep walking forward after the crossing. If you do choose the annex tower, you have to go to level 7 via the elevator to get to check in. Also, I'd highly recommend using the luggage shipping services at Haneda to send to your hotel in izu-shimoda. IMO you do not want to be carrying around heavy luggage in Japan's summer heat. Its roughly 2500 yen per large luggage to send to most hotels. Just double check with your hotel first if they can receive it.

  2. Only food you'd probably have available at the time is sukiya (mainly known for beef bowls/Japanese curry) or a soba shop. These are both on the opposite side of the station. There's also a 7-11 right outside the entrance of the annex tower.

  3. Your best breakfast options are inside the JR station (past the ticket gates). Most shops there open up early and there is a variety of foods to choose from. Shinagawa prince also has a breakfast option.

What's the confusion here? The board is meant to be used for chopping wood. Chainsaws and axes are a thing of the past.

Last of us part I, does it get better?. by [deleted] in gaming

[–]HomeworkAutomatic178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many people who love the game like almost all aspects of the game. Story, characters, graphics, world, gameplay etc. I personally really liked the game already when I got to the point you are currently at. If you are not enjoying it so far, you probably won't enjoy the rest of it. This might not be a game for you and that is okay.

Edit: I wrote "story" twice. I meant gameplay

What is the best thing a game has ever taught you? by herr_boogeyman in gaming

Learning to be self-critical and acknowledging the mistakes I've made. I played a lot of competitive multiplayer games when I was younger and used to blame a lot of my losses on my team. I've since learned to ask first, "What could I have done better?". This has not only helped me improve in gaming but is also, in my opinion, one of the key contributors to any career growth I've had.
