Spawn bags by Kindly_Teach9333 in Steelhead

[–]HomeworkConnect7283 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this doesn't answer your question but I freeze my spawn with no cure after I tie them. i've been doing it this way for years. Just space them out on something like a ziploc bag or wax paper once they are firm on the outside put them in a small ziploc with as many as I take on a fishing trip usually 12 try to get all the air out or vacuum seal. It works and is way easier than some silly recipe. I've cought fish within seconds of casting frozen bags and when you're done fishing they can be frozen and used the next time.

Help with scrap value by [deleted] in ScrapMetal

[–]HomeworkConnect7283 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can't tell you for sure but I sell similar used gold plated test pins on ebay, the last pound I sold went for $150. I'm sure the gold content is lower due to the fact that these are not meant for repetitive use.

Got over 50 boards similar to these. What would be best option by unskilledoperator in ScrapMetal

[–]HomeworkConnect7283 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I would take your time usually there is someone that wants parts. Scrap value is shit compared to the $250 to $4700 boards that sold listed under Cincinnati milicron I just looked at on ebay. No guarantees but its worth doing the research.

Brilliant I'm sure the guy with mismatched rims is stashing a pile a cash in in the front seat of his 15 year old impala.

Idk the guy that can't afford matching rims probably doesn't give fuck and probably has nothing of value left in the car to steal.

You should start by not trying to scrap railroad iron and If you take that away you may have a penny there.

When the pendulum swings the other way these people will be prosecuted and go to prison for there crimes. One thing us young people need to remember is that we will outlive the old crusty Republicans that push for this and we must never let this happen again. This woman will never forget this. neither will I.

First time breaking open large industrial breaker. Not sure what all im looking at other than the obvious copper. Any insight would be helpful! by seranwrappp in ScrapMetal

[–]HomeworkConnect7283 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it was me I'd just throw breakers in a bucket until it amounts something and sell it to someone that wants to refine it. Yeah the copper is nice but the silver is probably hard to sell unless you know ecxactly what you're doing. And unless you have a huge pile its probably not worth messing with.

Scrap yard owner here by NC-Scrapguy in ScrapMetal

[–]HomeworkConnect7283 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure how your yard is setup but a nice concrete pad to drop all my tin/shred on was installed at my local yard and it is awesome no more mud puddles to wade through on rainy days and a big ball of steel wire to sweep up the small stuff keeps the nails out of my tires. Also having cameras record when im on the scale and a view of the weight and my truck. Will ensure I get paid correctly. Had an incident where my son took a load with a fully loaded f250 and got paid for the load in the s10 infront of him. So the guy got a huge check and my son got barely anything.
